Thanks RCN! When I do this for an already existing city, what I normally do is to copy everything within a cell of the original worldspace together and then go to the child worldspace and use the 'paste-in-place' option which, if you use the corresponding cell, should leave everything exactly as it was. Do this cell-by-cell and it shouldn't be too painful.
However, one annoying thing will be to make sure that the doors match up to each other so that they link up with the appropriate interior. I think Deeza did a screenshot with the interiors named on them so that you would know which door led to which interior cell. I wouldn't touch things until you know the way it is configured in this way. I'll post back here with a link to that pic if I can find it. I'll need to double-check that it's not possible to leap over the walls at any point from either of the WSs...which would leave you in the wrong WS altogether. Edit - This is one of the threads: TSRI0109 "Blackrose: Thieftaker's Lodge" . However, bear in mind that there is also the 'Oubliette' that I have since created which is not noted here. The 'Oubliette' is mentioned in the posts above (with screenshots) and features one of the towers with a bamboo mesh over the water where you can get access to an underground location.
