it's splitting hairs. We know that the Tsaesci use armor, through the Dragonscale cuirass, but that they don't use much. There is no reason to assume that the rest of Akavir would not use armor.

A plant concept from Elsweyr, for you guys.

Akaviri Lantern: This unusual luminescent plant was brought over from Akavir by the Tsaesci shortly before the Potentate Versidue-Shaie was assasinated by the Morag Tong. This plant was prized by the Tsaesci for its many useful alchemical proerties, including light, fire damage and frost shield. Found mainly around Rimmen, this plant has begun to spread out throughout Elsweyr. (We could center an orange light node around each of these plants to create the luminous effect.
