Curious about subspecies Khajiit.
Are there plans, or already in, for the 13 or so subspecies of Khajiit, like the larger cats, and such? Even if I assume most not be playable, like it be hard to play the non anthro Khajiit. I've been away for a few years from playing Oblivion, but the idea of the Khajiit province being done sounds exciting.

so far the only ones we have implemented are the playable cathay (stock khajiit) the cathay-raht (bigger, beefier and sandy coloured) and the Tojay (small and spotted with Serval colouring). the is a Dagi available, but there are clipping issues with playing a character so small i might just make it not playable. We need some beast legs to make morrowinds Suthay-raht, and the Ohmes needs work
As for the quadrupedal khajiit, the pahmar is finished (from MMM i think, that was here when i joined) the alfiq and the Senche need a lot of texture work. and all three of them need more behaviour anims for AI packets like sleeping etc.
For ALL my concept art in one place look here:

I know how to do not so complex anims anims using blender...though I probablty could do anything with time.(and patience).

Add secondary motion i.e. this is the swaying from side to side when walking, clenching/unclenching a fist when idle, anything to add interest in a subtle manner - anything too obvious will stick out like a sore thumb. There are a lot of animation tutorials for Oblivion about these days, for Blender and 3ds Max, which explain the technical side of things (there's a blender custom creature tutorial on the CSWiki). |
