I never use 0 because it might not work if the programmer (mainly for modding other people's stuff) had it set to a variable that is different.

IsInCombat can only return 1 or 0, nothing else. 1 for is in combat, and 0 for not in combat. It either is or isn't, but it's the same case. If it isn't 1, then it must be 0. If it is 0, then it cannot be 1. If for some supernatural reason it is 2, then there's really no way to know if incombat is true or not.

I dont care, i practice this rule no matter what. that way I never forget to when I need it.
