Debate question
I was given a debate topic to debate upon this week and I'm interested in what you peeps think on the subject.
The topic of the debate is "The school administration has the right to censor high school publications". No mater what your personal feelings might be on the subject you have to consider that both sides need to be debated. If you think this kind of censorship is justified than feel free to say why that is. If you think that it is not also explain why. What can be defined as "high school publications" are school papers, web sites that represent the school in some way, etc. School administration? I think you know who those guys are *cough*jerks*cough*. Your opinions are welcomed and appreciated.

As long as there name is linked to the paper I think they're alloud to censor it. It the writer makes clear it are his opinions only then they can censor it in my opinion.

Well, if its their money going towards the publication, then technically they have the right to censor it-- even if I don't necessarily like censorship-- its still their money.
