Oh about Imperials and Ebony, definitely the design is Imperial and I don't think that the Redorans made it. I just think that in the TESIV: Vvardenfell storyline, the Redorans will be established as having control of the Vvardenfell Ebony trade, not necessarily what is done with it after export or anything, just the mining and export.

well with the imperials pulling out of morrowind, anything is possible... but weren't you the one who was questioning what things would be viable in a six year period... but who knows, maybe the redoran actually have intergrated those designs into their traditional armors already...

I am the one who is constantly questioning viability over the six-year period. However, all I am proposing here is that Caldera was a hot-bed of conflict between the Houses in TESIII and that the Empire's ownership is what kept it from ever escalating. With the Empire reducing involvement, Caldera would be hard to maintain and would fall map-wise under Redoran juristiction. The implication is not some huge change in Redoran armor styles or a new Redoran financial empire that spans Tamriel. The implication is simply that the valued mining operation is now under Redoran control and the Hlallu probably don't like it. The Imperial remnant probably doesn't appreciate that they had to give it up either, but that's the way foreign policy works sometimes. So yeah, no commercial revolution, just a hand-over of control.

that actually fits into what i had planned for house redoran, one of their quests
involves regaining control of caldera, however i have no specific ideas beyond that simple premise, so anything you could add to flesh it out would be apriciated! oh and if you could, post said ideas in the redoran plans thread

So far my idea for it is in the Helseth thread and I was going to have the hand-over take place prior to the game, mainly to avoid having to make someone script it. You could either change the quest idea to something about maintaining the new hold on Caldera (busting spies or some such thing), or if you really want it to be a quest though, we could probably come up with a good way to do it without too many complications. I guess I'm just trying to avoid the idea of having to switch over a large chunk of Caldera's population in-game (guards, managers, NCPs affiliated with rivals like the Hlallu).
Please keep in mind that I have never scripted anything in my life, so I have no real idea of how easy or hard it would be to have the turn-over of Calder occur in-game. |

Daedric is very rare.... and dremoras? nah.... but Generals should have a guard.... Gothren had 2 dremoras, thats just him Hlaalu sounds good... so does Indoril.... Dres, well, I'm still thinking about it too... I think Imperial Guard generals wear what they want... but either Adamantium, Templar, or Ebony I think betmer... they couldn't get ebony... but orcish weapons or dreugh armor or whatever... yes... bellringer is unique type of warrior Nords... like Imperial Guards with nordic silver? no... Ashlanders with glass axe? you talking about 1 NPC? ...I forget the glass axe name Cammona Tong... their leader is Orvas... he has orc armor and an ebony spear |
