Feeling dirty...? ;)
You do look a bit filthy, %PCName... best you take a bath. While doing that you're likely to need one of these...
I wish I could say I made the scene from scratch. The base is a freeware 3d model I found and textured. The soap meshes are as good as mine though, and I had fun making each mesh original in one way or the other. The textures were made by LadyLuck obviously and I'd like to save a number of those soaps for Oblivion as I'm rather fond of them. LadyLuck's normal seven soap textures only differ in color, as they all use the same base texture, so the creative value of having all seven in Oblivion might be limited... and some of them are a bit on the garish side. But I think we should value the stuff that originated within our team, so in my book that counts for a lot of points besides judging the quality on their own merits. But perhaps we can postpone that until the game is actually a reality, and modders can pick and choose any or no soaps to bring in from the max scene in the attachment. I know I'll use the soapdish model myself... I need a sauna in my palace =) black[/hr] The towelring is more of a working project, but one that would have a lot of uses outside bathrooms if reskinned - all marble for a moorings perhaps.

Very, very nice. I love that model and the texture looks awesome.
This should definitely be in - together with the soaps. Oh ... and there's a steambath and a little pool in 'Good Fortune', free to use for anyone. Greetings Quentin P.S.: this was my 3000th official post in this forum ... though inofficially I lost about 500 when our former host failed on us ... nevertheless, let's celebrate. Quentin
That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs, but what a ship is - what the Black Pearl really is - is freedom.

Nice, I'll see if I can find more bath-related things that you might find appropriate for Good Fortune "II"
Happy 3000th! Edit: This bathtub maybe? Perhaps it looks a bit too modern.

Even though this is a very nice model it definitely is too modern. Considering that the TES games are a rather medieval world I assume that they would have wooden bath tubs, half barrels so to speak.
But it is nice ... *sigh* ... Greetings Quentin

Yes, that was my hunch as well so I didn't spend too much time on it. I could fantasize about things like deleting the legs and then sinking it into a foundation (making a hole in a block for example) which wouldn't look too modern, but I'm sure there's no shortage of less modern-looking bath tubs on the net either.
I get most of the textures from David Gurrea btw, they look nice and are already custom-made to be used in a computer game.

Well, okay, sure, the bathtub looks modern now. But couldn't we retexture it to wood / lacquered wood / marble? I think the drain is the most moden thing visible, so that should be covered up.
That's a lovely soap dish. I wonder if the rest of the bathroom can be textured in the same wood finish?
There are conditions of the nerve endings, the likes of which your imagination, no matter how fevered, could not possibly hope to evoke.

Quote:Originally posted by Cenobite I'm sure the bathtub could be made to look less modern, but as it's just a random freeware mesh from the net that I slapped a texture on I'm quite sure there are more suitable bathtub meshes on the net that would look more appropriate in a fantasy setting. Though, just for fun, I wouldn't mind taking on a little sideproject outside the scope of Silgrad Tower in the future that's set in a modern setting. Shame about crossbows being nixed though, that would make a pistol mod very hard to pull off.
