Plans
Corthian made most of the kimono available in a mod on TESNexus, and it was recently Exnemized by Ratchild. (made to work with the Exnem body)
Link Here WIP thread here So I think I suppose I should get you all the work I've done so far. I've been messing around with the architecture elements and not getting very far with them. I want to release the bows and some of the cloths in a mod, but would like to add some of the armor and swords along with it, with your permission of course. I'm also going to put my textures on ratchild's mod and release that, maybe |

Very well, you can get permission for some armor and weapons, is there anything specific you had in mind?

Hey, sorry the couple days has lapsed into over a month. I've been kinda busy, but lately have been working on a couple projects. The kimono, yumi, quivers are done, as far as I'm concerned. I have a few texturing ideas, for kimono and armor.
I have the stuff ready to upload. Please let me know if you have a preference for an upload site. I'll upload it tomorrow. (226megs unzipped)Also Let me know what you would like included/excluded Notes: I did Not Include a plugin, my working one is still a work in progress. (Yes, I AM working on it, presently) Meshes: Some have texture paths mixed with mine and Corthians textures. I DID NOT include Corthian's Textures. The Arrows and quivers are very finicky, so try to keep the mesh heirarchy and texture paths in place. Kitana Outfit: The Kitana Outfit REQuIRES Exnem Eye candy Body!! This is a split version, no longer a full body suit. It's split into top, boots, underwear, straps, and gloves. It is a chopup of SkeletonK's Dark Illusion Armor, done by Slash197 at the Exnem eyecandy forums. He released it and made no mention of it's origin. In turn, I retextured the outfit, made a mod and released it, soon finding out the origin of the mod, some irritated Koreans, cursing at me in google translator speak. I also found out how nice Dark Illusion Armor is There's a re-touched Scale Mail Texture in the root of the texture folder The Icons are all mostly custom made by myself. There is some that are of weapons not retextured. If you dont want this let me know and I wont upload it. For the Current Icons: Correct Paths: Weapons: \Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\weapons\ Kitana: \Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\Clothes\Kitana What I've been doing Lately: Working on getting some of Corthian's Armor, Retextured versions of some kimono onto exnem body, along with the yumi, quivers, and a handful of bladed weapons. I can make the exnemized version of the armor I have done available if you want it, but the only changes are the fit, so the body parts dont stick out of the armor. I did a retouch scalemail armor (one with the large spikes sticking out), did some color change, and added some authentic Edo(?) Period details Working on tattoos, body and face textures I've found getting some of Corthian's armor onto an Exnem Body, difficult at best. And not knowing how to rig it doesn't help. I have a tutorial, but I want to use the body's already made. (And I haven't found the time to look into it) For instance, Captain's Outfit, nothing but empty space in game, but looks great in nifskop. The Manchu Helm, doesn't show up at all. I had the same problem with the Samurai helm, but got it working. Same with archer's sleeves, some success with Samurai boots, scalemail, samurai armor, and weapons. To sum it all up, I'd say that if this isn't done soon, I'm going to scrap it, or find someone else to work on the stuff I cant get to work. I doubt I'll be spending much more time doing armor/clothing for custom bodies, unless I find something that I just cant resist. I would really like to learn 3dsMax tho. I have a student friend who can get it for me, real cheap. (box set) You will be seeing a lot more of me. Whether that's good or bad, I can't answer Some more fairly recent pics: |

Wow! :pop:
Those textures look awesome! :goodjob: Really nice pictures, great artwork, cool tattoos. :applause: :applause: :applause: You can use any upload site you want, but if possible a site without a download limit for free downloads (like Rapidshare, i'm starting to hate Rapidshare, it used to be really good). Please upload all finished work, i like everything i have seen, and we don't need a plugin so that's no problem. It would be really great if we had some Yakuza horimono (Japanese tattoos) that fit the entire torso What happened when the irritated Koreans were cursing you? I hope there will be no problems about anything? Keep up the good work Flucidity, it's great to have you on the team.

Tattoos: Full torso would be a problem, unless it's on the chest. There is a seam down the spine, shoulderdown the length of the arm, the lenght of the chest and the almighty neck seam. It's worse on a female body, but what female is going to get a shirt tattoo?
Here's my method of seeing how it works: (which is not my method, something I found) The first two pics can be converted into .dds files. In nifscope, after assigning one of the new .dds files on either body models, you will see overlapping of the lines. Here's some examples of some source pics I can use. I'll post a pic later. I've done a smaller version of this I've done a smaller version of this Kitana Outfit: I'm uploading the split version, not the full body version. The Koreans really werent cursing, it just seemed that way because of the machine generated translation. There was a couple people over at tesnexus who may or may not have been friends of the author (Skeletonk) of Dark Illusion armor, and identified the mod I posted as parts of Dark Illusion armor. They were wondering why I hadn't given Skeleton K his due credits as the source. I explained that it was a retextured version of a resource done by another. Skeleton K states in his mod's readme: This mod was made by [skeleton k] from Korea. Quote:You should not modify this MOD or deploy(or distuibute) without agreement of the author. If you do, that will be insult and I will not tolerate. Dark Illusion Armor Mod I emailed him and explained what happened, and gave him his due credit. Kitana Outfit Mod I'm pretty much regretting releasing that. reading comments from other mods and one comment on mine, I cant believe how people whine about what they dont like, ask the modder to fix small details, blah blah. Do it yourself if you dont like it. Not that I wouldn't understand why someone from this project would request me to change something, tone something down, fix this, it isnt right, etc. Go Team!! |
