Tell me about bad days, will you.
One night, my parents told me they both had to go to work, so I had to get to school by myself. Happens a lot,so nothing big. They even provided me with a key to the house. Now, next day, I wake up a little late. No problem, still got lots of time (15 mins?). Well, that's when things started going wrong. I got my little sister out the door (at last) and I grab my key to lock the door... Don't laugh, the locksmith must have forgotten to finish it because it wasn't even finished! X( Now, my little sister was worried about how to get to school. We obviously couldn't leave the house door unlocked, and I was missing something important at school. So, that's when I had a brilliant idea :idea1: I could go inside, and pass the garage door opener (which I promised was not going out of the house, aside from which, it was attached on a string to the coathanger thing) to my sister through the mail slot. Good, it fit. I went through the basement, through the garage, and out the garage door. Wow, I was out. I told my little sister to just let the garage door opener fall through the mail slot. :] Of course, now we had no way back into the house! :alert: Unfortunately, I forgot to lock the front door from the inside on my way out, so we went through the whole thing again. hrug: That isn't the end of the story. Onto the bicycles we went. On our helmets went. Looking good up until we're off the driveway when CLANG! The bicycle chain came off my little sister's bicycle. Obviously, I know how to fix it, so I fixed it. Now off we went again... But then my bicycle chain came loose, so I fixed it, then my sister's came loose again... Good, I dropped my little sister off at her school, then I continued. :bounce: Now, I can't remember exactly when, but my bicycle seat came loose at some point, and now it is perched at a... very painful angle (me being a man) and thus it was very uncomfortable to ride my bike. ;( I'm not finished yet. :flamed: I got to school. Late. Alright, whatever, I managed to get to school for that lesson, which is something anyway. :applause: Wait... I forgot my bicycle lock at home! No worries, I've got another. Unfortunately, it was (and still is) on my bicycle, but it wouldn't open. :bash: So, the moral of the story is this: Always make sure the locksmith finished your key before paying for it. :chaos: |
