Yeah, I would say so. By the way, if anyone wants to polish up Gideon with the Gothic models then I can set this up as a claim. Personally, I like the idea of something similar to what I posted above but I'm perfectly happy for someone to come up with their own interpretation seeing as Tlo1048 is unlikely to return to finish it off. I'd like to get all of these Gothic models ready though (I haven't posted pics of the two missing ones yet) and would need a modeller to make some adjustments to them. But, as a home to Shadowscales and various dark, nocturnal happenings, it would represent an interesting claim with lots of supporting detail available elsewhere on these forums as inspiration.
It's also in its own WS whereas Stormhold, despite now being structurally complete in its exteriors, could really do with being moved into its own WS as well. Oh, and I would say that Stormhold is probably a little more upper class, in the Southern sector of the city, at least.

Gideon's definitely a middle-class town, although it should probably have a few mansions for its creepy (and possibly vampiric) aristocrats as well.
Stormhold is more of a frontier garrison town and Imperial administrative centre than anything else, so I'd imagine it's quite short on luxuries, except of course in the Imperial Legion and Governor's quarters. That said, where there are Imperials there are merchants, so it's probably quite an even mixture. Soulrest, on the other hand, is very definitely a working class port city, populated by poor argonian dock workers, mercenaries, sailors, pirates and smugglers. The only rich people who live there stay in the fortified Kothringi upper-class compound.

Then Helstrom is a junkyard?

No, Helstrom is the Argonian Capital and, although not lavish and grand like the Imperial City, is nonetheless an impressive city on account of all the Argonian architecture on display. It's the cultural and religious centre where most of the Hist worship will be based so I expect to see the presence of Hist trees.
We have yet to finalise any plans for Helstrom as it lies beyond the beta region but most suggestions revolve around Aztec/Mayan culture, engraved rock-faces, pyramidal structures and, I daresay, a fair amount of Paatru 'rootworks' featuring plenty of undergrowth, wood, roots and stuff. Personally, I'm keen on a few unusual, glistening lagoons as well.

Hmm. That reminds me, I made some concepts for Helstrom a while ago... perhaps I shall see if I can find them again. Still, that's a question for another day I guess.

Hmm... then maybe Stormhold?
I read somewhere that it is a very dirty city... Or maybe it's just me. |
