IATE's New Glass Cups
Ok, I didn't change much, but recently I've been playing around in NifScope and discovered the concept of transparancy. So, I decided to tweak the glass cups I made and make them transparent. It works pretty well, although I think on a few there is this one stripe that won't turn transparent. I had to turn the metal parts all black to make them as least transparent as possible. Here's the link, enjoy!
(Note: The metal in the screens does not have the updated texture, I forgot to load the updated ones into my textures folder. They are in the update though)
Lol what?

Killing imperial legion ppl since 2002 and still they keep coming.
Community idiot and modder. (Currently learning to model stuff and breathe) I can: - Use TES CS - Walk - Re-Texture - Yell really loud (I mean REALLY Loud!) |

Ok, here are some more screens.
#1: Objects are visible through the cup, as you notice you can still see the paper inside. #2: When you beef up the lighting up in the CS, you can clearly see the effect that happens to transparent objects as compared to the original. #3: Sadly, transparent objects cannot be seen at some angles in the cups. Both white cups are transparent. To the left is the original orange cup and to the right is the transparent orange cup. #4: The transparent cups have a just as good if not better normal map (Left=New, Right=Old) #5: The new cups still have Havok, on the ground to the left is the original, to the right is the new one. I selected both so they could be seen. What do you all think?
Lol what?

These get my unofficial, invisible, stamp of approval.

They weren't in the link?
Ok, I fixed it. The Textures should now be in Textures\ST\Cups.
Lol what?

Sorry if I was unclear. Please change the texture file paths in the nifs to point to Data\textures\ST\cups\ instead of Data\textures\ST\.

Sorry. I thought they were just in Data\Textures\ST because that was where my origional textures were kept when I first made them. Anyways, it's all fixed up now.
Lol what?
