(Completely off subject)
Whe could use her for quests maybe shes just standing outside of a tomb, looking for help. You help her, she gives you a key as a gift for kindness and disapears. Later you get attacked and captured by vampires, stuck in a cell. Guess what the key is for... |

Rocks would be better - as signpoints if another NPC had already been that way.
Building the essential info into the quest-related NPC's conversation in a simple way that could be interpreted as casual chat or speculation might be more effective for background info in the quest. And you might even have more than one NPC giving you conflicting info - very possibly the same NPC with RAI - so that you are then alerted that there is some kind of issue, but then you get to choose what to listen to. There are ways ( :diabolically clever: ) if you try. That's the difference between RPG and FPS - human choice and quality of interaction. Hey, it aint that difficult, and if I can find those girls who are holding the convention in my beard I expect they would be only too willing to help you...
Because loyalty is not to be spoken of and honour is to be endured. Whilst courage is to be survived. These virtues belong to silence.
Steven Erikson. But, if one man does nothing can he be said to be good? raggidman |
