In need of a Lore update
Every so often, I like to browse The Imperial Library to read up on some books and learn some lore, but these four (and I'm guessing very important) pieces of lore are still unknown to me. I've looked and can find no obvious answers. They are:
Tiber Septim and the Numidium (every part of it, including this underking I've also been wondering about) The Dragonbreak The Warp in the West The Camoran Usurper I know for the Numidium, Tiber had to rip out the heart of his archmage or something, Arcturus I think, who I think became the Underking somehow. The Dragonbreak I know was some distortion or rip in time, that's all I know. The Warp in the West, I have no idea what that is. The Camoran Usurper, I know was some king of Valenwood I think who tried to conquer Tamriel. So I'd appreciate it if someone could just explain these for me (in detail) of what everything was. Another addition I remembered I know little about, St. Alesia and the fall of the Ayleids. I want to know that one too. Gah, I want to add another one. Jagar Tharn. Remind me to never venture into the Obscure Texts section of the library.....
Lol what?

See what prowler has to say about it, or Lorus, or Xui'al. They usually know what they're talking about. And it's a hell of a lot easier than trying to decifer most of the books yourself. Though, I would suggest you at least read The Warp in the West This is the end, beautiful friend.

It's a book? That makes it easier then.
It's hard though, because forum posts happen at random and I never know where I'll find the answers. hrug: I can handle the Obscure texts section, but when it talks about things going back into TES2, or if it's related to Vivec in any way, my tiny mind just can't sort the information properly, and it usually ends up (in my head) sounding like that begger in the Shivering Isles who says "I'll cakkicrack the findoo, you teratet it!"

Well, i'm not an expert, but the dragon break was when "akatosh lost control of time" What it means in practicality, is that about 6 completely different outcomes to the same event happened.
Confused? At the end of Daggerfall, the player had *i believe* 6 different options of how to end the game. When bethesda made morrowind, they needed to talk about the ending events of daggerfall ingame in books, yet not have any one ending be true. So the bright people decided that akatosh lost control of time, all 6 endings happened, which also created the warp in the west. Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala

Now that's a bit confusing. If that's the case, what would happen in the event that two paralell outcomes both happened, say as two warring nations both won. How would that turn out?
What were the outcomes of Daggerfall? There was something about giving the Numidium I think to Mannimarco, Tiber, or keeping it and dying, I'm pretty sure those were some options. Just read Warp in the West, and from what I understand, it was a sort of series of catastrophic natural disasters that destroyed all minor kingdoms, leaving only the four major kingdoms? That's all I can come up with to explain the Tsunami, Sandstorm, and giant Fire they described in the book. Was the first guy's account a distortion in time? He says he lost a day somewhere while he was walking. Ok, just looked over the Warp again, and now I think it was the Numidium being activated and it caused utter destruction. They mentioned about two times of an artifact that may have been responsible for the annihalation.

You also have to know what happened in Daggerfall to really get the Warp in the West. Just look at the Daggerfall Storyline. Now, imagine all those endings happened, but with less power than they would have. That's The Warp in the West.
This is the end, beautiful friend.

I think the options were giving numidium to mannimarco, the underking, keeping it, giving it to either of two kingdoms, or giving it to the emperor. So what happened in the warp of the west is this:
Mannimarco used numidium to become a god The Underking used Numidium to achieve death You try to use numidium, die, and bad stuff happens The Emperor uses Numidium to pacify the region Both of the two kingdoms conquer stuff. So basically, all of those happened at once, leaving only a few peaceful kingdoms (because of the conquering and pacification) Some natural disasters, Mannimarco ascending, and the underking dying. All of this manifested as the Warp in the West. And yes, the first guy did reaccount a distortion in time, because akatosh lost control of time. Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala

Ah, thanks.
Next up is the Camoran Usurper. No doubt an ancestor of my good friend Mankar I'm sure. The Valenwood team could probably share a lot about the subject. All I read about him was when he was conquering High Rock or something and there were a bunch of refugees hiding out in an underground shelter. There were two Wood Elves formally under the service of Camoran, one of them was some sort of scout who deserted and the other was Camoran's mistress who was pregnant with his baby or something.

Also, The Warp in the West is importaint because it explains why Mannimarco was such a wimp. The one you fought is a part of him, the weaker Mannimarco, Mannimarco the human ( I think). The god Mannimarco is the Necromancer's Moon (maybe). You know, the thing that lets you make black soul gems.

Ah, so he is a god. Still kicked his wimpy altmer arse though. If his weaker form was even that easy, yeah I could take on the god. But I love black soulgems...I'm at a crossroads here...
