There must be some kind of natural enemy of the kwama. The pheremones ccauses kwama warriors to follow and protect you, but it also attracts aggresive cliffracers

hmm... it would seem nix-hounds in packs are a danger to all....
alits and kagouti are opportunists, scavenging and mabushing when they can... mudcrabs occasionally go on land to scavenge... guars are omnivorous but prefer a mainly herbivorous diet.... cliffracers... they prey on scribs, rats, kwamma foragers... and like kwama eggs... but they don't hunt the big ones... |

Maybe the Altsaan ( or however you spell it) I see them destroying Egg mines and eating everything inside. Thus making them natural enemies with the Kwawa

Quote:Originally posted by Harikarimaybe... since Altsaasan will eat bugs and vegies and any thing they can catch up to... they are true omnivores but then again... there is only one last herd... but not small... they were never numerous... I mean they were quickly out competed by more versatile and smarter breeds like ALits, Guars, and Kagouti... the Altsaasan body was also not too practical as Vvardenfell came to being and the Blight began, food became scarcer... it was impractical to be so big, so slow, and so dumb... and so only one (large) herd has survived... |

i was thinking they just walk up, start slowly demolishing and ate out of the nest like a bear to a honey tree. I know the Altsann arent very defensive, but the Kwawa dont seem to be something that could pierce the thick scales of the beast with claws, they need something that jab pierces

Quote:Originally posted by Harikarithats what I was thinking exactly... but Kwama aren't their main meal... its just a treat... plus, Altsaasan may not be able to go all the way into the Kwama colony... I mean they are big... and not designed to dig... they are designed to graze and roam the plains crawling close to their bellies... virtually impenetrable.... ...but sooo dumb.... well not exactly dumb.... they are like rhinos... not stpuid per say, but not smart like elephants... and then again, not aggressive like rhinos... but docile.... unlesss provoked... of course it will take them awhile to react  |
