I figure a little of both .
THe heightmap is downloaded from the heightmap thread, and you got to get a claim from KuKulza.

yea, and then as a plug-in your modded section must be added to the one who has the "master-file" if I know it correctly. Problem is I personally can't do the merging and modding as of yet, personal issues and such...
however, Dave is my right-hand man in many ways, I am sure either he or TheImperialDragon can help you after you've made a claim, done the claim, and ready to have it added to THE "mastafile" :goodjob: |

Once we have sufficient progress done, like a final heightmap, a few towns and dungeons, generally when the mod is properly playable, we'll begin merging the mod. It may take a while, but once it's done, it makes everything so much easier for players/testers and modders.
To start out modding, you'll need the Oblivion Construction Set and the Silgrad Tower esm for all the parts and pieces to build with, which is availible from the downloads section of Silgrad.com. Then simply make a claim. It's as easy as that. There are a few optional plug-ins you could use too, like the heightmap (although, this is probably just as important as the Silgrad esm, especially when modding exteriors) and other small resources that you may wish to use. I would recommend modding using Silgrad Tower.esm, and the Vvardenfell Heightmap by Lightwave. Check often for new releases of Silgrad Tower, to make sure you've everything you need, and are not missing any new or updated CS pieces and bugfixes. |
