Thanks Giskard. Many members should soon be returning from exams so I'm hoping that we can push forward a little in the coming weeks. Can anyone do the weapons and armour job: CLAIM: Armour and Weapon Assignations to Factions particularly with respect to putting them into the CS and adjusting their settings appropriately? Otherwise, I can do it but I'll need to get familiar with MOBS and stuff.
I have added the list of weapons and armour in that list to this one. If you look at the first post, you will now see the words SPECIALIST WEAPONRY marking out any out-of-house resources that may be used besides our own. Please bear in mind that these are still just suggestions of what to assign to the different factions. They really need to be agreed upon. Also, despite the impressive amount of resources, I'm still thinking we may need the following specialist items: shaman robes, Royal Court armour, Shadowscale armour and maybe also some Sotho Tren specialist armour for different types of criminals e.g. pirates.

Ibsen,
I made a new thread in "Art Concepts" forum, with some clothing and armor sketches I did in the past for DUNE and The Ocean Mod: Koniption's Armor/Clothing Concepts Some may fit in with your needs. (others definitely will not... ) Koniption
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

Btw if your planning on faction specific armour, your possibly a year away from being ready for my help. There are times when you have to take that step towards a beta and just add the rest later if you feel up to it.

A whole year to get armour into the mod...? ?( Progress-wise, there's stuff already in there already prepared but the transfer between the old team and new team hasn't been smooth in some areas and there are a few things in there that I didn't know existed in the esm.

Okay, I've just added 'relations' information to the original post and created my 'MS Excel' lists of weapon stats of the existing weapons and am looking at which others to use. I need to know what sort of weapons were selected for vanilla Factions before I can continue so that I can make the right set of choices when assigning equipment to them.
I could, for example, just choose one set of armour, one weapon, one shield etc. to each Faction but, of course, not all Faction members should be identical. I'm aware that introducing levelled lists at a later stage is crucial but for what I'm doing right now, I only need to choose the items themselves, right? For example, how many different weapons were assigned for use with the Blackwood Company? What were they and was a range of them chosen so that some of the better ones had a Daedric longsword whilst others had a Daedric dagger etc.? If a range of them were chosen, how was this range decided upon? Did they simply use the same models but with higher stats (using levelled lists) or was there a selection to choose from (as I have here in the case of the Ka'Pura tribe where the better fighters are given the Seruit scimitar, the standard fighters the Barbed Leaf and the poor fighters the Kazhan stuff)? Also, could you confirm whether:

I took a look at the Shadowscales and I agree with your ideas. Though you did mention sticking with DB stuff. How about a darker variant set?, just a small retexture which will keep things simple and smaller. Then add in those masks.
For the weapons I was thinking, Stealthy, possibly Katanas and Assassin Bows or something.

Remember this the is blackmarsh not an industrial town, they will have a hard time stopping a forge from disappearing in to the bogs in blackmarsh. Anything native needs to be "Of the Marsh" or a mismash of various races technology if its from the coastal areas because those areas where conquered by everybody over the years. The inner marsh was not and so remains pure native in nature. So you need to be thinking, wood, posions, creatures trained to kill, possibly some sort of martial arts. Hist seem to have the power to make creatures do their bidding so perhaps thats a skill they have too. Being natives. Either way, unless you want the Shadowscales to sound imperial, your going to have to think more primative than that. Remember they join the DB, possibly because the equipements better.
