Made ya some blueberry goodness!
Hi everyone,
Firstly, I want to say upfront that I'm not joining Skyrim officially or in any major capacity - too much RL interference for me right now. Ibsen's Ghost (name?? His name was Ibsen3 on Nexus..), PM'd me and asked me if I could help him and even ST. I told him my situation of needing to get better, and that I could irratically and spontaneously do models "when felt like it". But occasionally I get the time and energy and model something - I consider one of my specialties plants and flora, and I see that you all lack flora for the most part. So I made a blueberry bush and some blueberry ingredients. I need to know who to PM the download link to for Skyrim. Blueberries are considered boreal, taiga, and tundra plants, so they are found in cold places; some even have evergreen leaves. Speaking of where you might want to look for Skyrim plant ideas: http://www.borealforest.org/world.htm (Look under both "World" plants and "Northwestern Ontario" plants - they separate the two categories - this site lists cold tolerant plants, even tundra ones) Also look up plants using keywords: tundra (coldest that supports plant life), taiga (inbetween), and boreal (cold but warmer than the rest?) Koniption
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

Hi Koniption, I'm Razorwing (one of the ST guys). I read that Ibsen's Ghost was trying to get in touch with you in a forum thread. Are you sure he wasn't thinking about ST?
In either case I made a lingonberry plant awhile back, which could be appropriate for Skyrim's climate. If you Skyrim guys would like to use it, can I use the blueberry plant? Here's how it looks:

I'm still a little confused as to which term means which project - there are multiple projects with similar names that still confuse me. When you said "Silgrad Tower", I come to the forum I know of , that happens to have all the other provinces in it. So I thought all of them were fair game. Skyrim looked most neglected in terms of plant life, so I focused on making a cold hardy plant for them.
So Ibsen didn't misdirect me, I misdirected myself, I guess. Can you hold my hand and link me to the official ST project Ibsen was referring to? I get lost real easy in forums. Never was good at maps neither. Generally, I model for whoever, whenever; but knowing which place I was trying to be led to would help. I still need to know who to officially send the blueberry linky to. After I get that figured out and sent, you guys can discuss who to share the blueberry plant with. Oh yeah, I'm a girl, not a guy...not that I expected most of you to know that to begin with (I noticed some people around here referring to me as "he") ... :lmao: Koniption EDIT: Nevermind, I believe I found the TESIV: ST link to the actual "ST" project. I was using the wrong page for short while there. EDIT: Do I send the blueberry files to Razorwing?? Or could I be wrong at this point?

I imagine SACarrow will try to rope you into some voice work if you advertise the fact, so take care if you're not voice-work inclined. Also, there's nothing stopping you submitting work over here. I've submitted my own voice files to various different regional projects myself and have a lot of admiration for some of the guys that work on these projects. It's just that ST (Silgrad Tower) is, I think it's fair to say, the big-daddy project of them all. As regards the files, my advice is to use http://www.yousendit.com , which is really easy to get used to, and then send Razorwing the link that it gives you.

Thanks for clearing things up IG
I thought you were a guy too, Koniption For no particular reason other than that there's one woman for every hundred men here and assuming women are men tend to go over more well than doing the opposite hehe. There's quite a few lasses on the forum though, like Lady Nerevar, Ysne and Ja-Kha'jay. I think Lady Nerevar is a freelancer of sorts, at least when she's on our forum, otherwise she's with another mod team. Ysne heads up the Akavir team while Ja-Kha'jay is in the Elsweyr group. I'm the guy coordinating ST's BSA archive so that's why I'd like a copy of the blueberry plant. I can then add it to our archive and submit a plugin that enters it into our main esm and then when the bsa/main esm updates are released folks in our group can start using your model.

Hello Razorwing and Koniption.
I've got a little request from Black Marsh we decided we ought to OK with both of you and this was the only thread I could get hold of you both in the same place (sorry about the off-topic Skyrim). Do you think we could use the excellent mangrove trees Koniption made that Ibsen's Ghost mentioned earlier on this thread: SHRAC06 "Steadhelm Region Area Claim" [Claimed] We already have some mangrove trees we made ourselves, but using these ones as well would add a nice bit of variety to our coastal mangrove swamps. Could we please use them?

Lol, I know most people in modding tend to be guys. I only mention that I'm female, mostly to amuse myself at the reactions it gets sometimes.
I know of Ja'Kha Jay & Lady Nerevar. Didn't know Ysne was the same. I always thought Ysne was a guy, til now. Razorwing : I've changed my mind and I'll go ahead and send you the link for the blueberries shortly instead of waiting for Skyrim to answer first. I give them to Skyrim too, when someone from that mod replies. I know you'll need the files beforehand so people can use the files in the esm/esp for ST, later. I plan on releasing more stuff in a resource pack eventually, though not soon, and even the blueberries will be fair game in it. So if my models are meant for everyone anyways, then no need to wait for Skyrim's reply first. Deeza - for same reasons above, you can use the mangrove trees. I'll send you a download link shortly. Also, the mangrove trees were made before Ibsen contacted me, so it's not like I made them specifically and only for ST. They predated the request, so to speak. Koniption

Thanks for the blueberries Koniption, things have been slow around here lately, I don't have any time to mod, and I think Alasdair is still on vacation.
