My map

Some of you may alredy know I have my own mod called Abecean Pirates well ive come up with a map for my mods new world space I would like some imput as to what you my fellow moders think of it.

this mod is not beth lore based but i dont plan to do anything that breaks any lore other than locations and such. I am not trying to have this as a BC Mod as it is my own i may ask for help or testing here and there but not a part of it. I am also not Recurting as this is BC and that would be quite Rude to do now wouldnt it.

Im tying to hight map basied of of this man its hard as heck to do. :confused:

Are all those little dots islands? It will be hell for ships to navigate through that

the two big islands of fratured point the space imbetween them is big enouth for almost 4 ships maybe even more and thats just basied on my adding the first town to factured point's island that is the only place that is nearly finished being hightmaped. and yes they are islands.

it takes 2 seconeds for my pc to generate standard pathgrids for the terian of one cell yay

Looks like fun, but maybe too busy? I'm sure you can fit 4 ships in between one island and the next, or whatever, but the sea (let alone ocean) is very much about open seas and sailing. Aaaand so I would like to see sailing as part of any pirate scenario / game. If not personal control of the ship then extended periods of experiancing sea travel.

Given that you have to consider the limitations of your comp I supppose that may not yet be possible atm. Neverthless... there would have to be a very careful examination of the naming of the mod and such so that people do not get the wrong idea.

Saying that have you considered that many pirates in such areas of the real world used canoes or outriggers and so forth combined with overwhelming numbers, rather than big ships.

Alternatively I suspect that you would have to extend your map into wide open ocean reaches to accomodate the big ship sailing thing, or rejig the scale...

The Lost Cove - does not look very lost to me...

Fractured Point on your map looks no more and no less frasctured than any other part...

Maybe you could take another look at the map from a spacing point of view?

Because the Main Islands are so close and there are so many intervening islets it seems that you cannot comfortably line up the names with the Islands they relate to.

yeah um my hight map that im makeing when testing a little bit um well its as big as cyrodill the entre map space of it.

hey green I havent dled it yet (I've been meaning to) but one thing has stoped me, I dont have a fealing of how many quests there are. If theres a good amount I'll dl it, if not I may have a look. sounds good tho.

um yeah dont dl it im basicaly going to re-make it kinda funny huh that way it is more enjoyable and much better made i just need to get that hightmap done.



also can anyone tell me how to add different textures to the terian cause im haveing toubles doing it.

Ureka Looky what i did today for my mod a whole new city that is external with little to no frame rate loss! and i even found out how to change the terain textures and everything I plan to finish this city soon so tell me what you think about it. oh and by the way im calling my statue the Salvaiton of the Slaves cause the guy has shakles that have been unlocked in his hands

Has anyone experieced an error in the CS when useing the F-floor button that makes you have to exit it?
