This is the first written record in the Tamrielic Timeline. This new kingdom is later used as a buffer by the older kingdom of Ayleids (Wild Elves) of White Gold Tower in the Cyrodiil heartland, from the influence of stronger kingdom of Alinor (Summurset Isle). In time, the Ayleids become more independent and the White Gold Tower eventually rises as a new independent city-state. 1E 20 The oldest written record of the existence of the Isle of Artaeum. It tells the tale of the renowned Breton sage and author Voernet, traveling to the Isle of Artaeum to meet with Iachesis, the Ritemaster of the Psijics. Source: Fragment: On Artaeum, Guide to the Psijic Order. 1E 143 King Harald, the thirteenth of Ysgramor's line, conquers Skyrim. The first kingdom of humans is founded on the northern part of Tamriel. 1E 221 King Harald dies at the age of 108 after a very long reign. King Hjalmer takes the throne. Source: Frontier, Conquest, and Accommodation: A Social History of Cyrodiil, University of Gwylim Press, 3E 344 1E 222 King Hjalmer dies and his youngest son, King Vrage the Gifted, becomes the next king. 1E 240 During the reign of King Vrage, Skyrim extends its wings. To the east, the Velothi area - which the Nord often call Dwemereth (or, more recently, Dunmereth), now known as Morrowind - is the land of the more established Dwemer and nomadic Chimer. This conquest is one of the epic clashes of the First Era. To the west, Skyrim conquers most of the area now known as High Rock, which was the territory of Altmer and Nedic peoples (the ancestor of Bretons and proto-Cyrodiils which have been already living there among the Elves). The arrival of the Nord armies upset the balance of power between the Nedic peoples and the Elves. Although the Skyrim has finally conquered the land, but a Altmer clan, the Direnni Clan, still exists in a part of High Rock, giving trouble to the Nordic Kingdom. Within a span of fifty years, Skyrim rules all of northern Tamriel, including most of present-day High Rock, a deep stretch of the Nibenay Valley, and the whole of Morrowind. This is known as The First Empire of the Nords. Source: Pocket Guide of the Empire: Skyrim, Frontier, Conquest, and Accommodation: A Social History of Cyrodiil, History of Daggerfall. 1E 242 Alessia, later known as the Slave Queen, and her followers start a rebellion against the Ayleids' rule of White Gold Tower. Source: Shezarr and the Eight Divines. 1E 243 With the help of the stronger human kingdom of Skyrim, the 'Alessian Army' eventually overthrows the Ayleids' rule over the Cyrodiil heartland. The remaining Ayleids seek refuge in Valenwood's Camoran Dynasty. I hope that clears it up.... it was a large uprising, not a genocide... plenty of refugees fleeing to Valenwood |

End of Times Cult....
yeah... one quest, Convince the leader to demonstrate the proper suicide ritual... ok he's dead now... the cult falls apart .... actually not a bad idea Harikari... maybe make a new thread for it? like maybe the Temple is worried that the Cult has gotten onto Vvardenfell... and thy want it quietly stamped out.... but not with Ordinators.... thats too.... violent... |

my point exactly.... they are a suicide cult... only dangerous cause of their influence, not what they will do to you.... they might be a bit graphic... but they aren't gonna last that long.... suicide cults rely on support.... they rely on widespread support so it doesn't die out.... like a cancer, needs to keep feeding or it will burn itself out....
notice the leaders usually won't kill themselves unless they are doing it in a heroic situation or somethin |
