New sand texture needed?
If a new sand texture is needed, I'll come up with something decent.

Great! Made a picture of sand to a sand texture.
Btw. Should I save the tga as 32bits? Or should I just export as dds, straight away? |

You need to make a normal map for land textures, the same with any texture in Oblivion. Anyway, make sure that they are 'tileable', so that the same textures look alright next to each other.

Yeah, I know. That's the hard part .
And I got Nvidias normal map tool since I got HL2(wich was one month after it came out). I'm still trying to do a nice seamless tex, but it's harden than I thought. X( Well, "just keep trying", I say to my self . Edit: So where should I send it then? I got the normalmap and such. I think It'll need some changes here and there. And I'll clean up the texture so that the normalmap gets good. I could do a parallax map too. But is that neccessary? Done! Now.. Who shall I send it to? |
