TheImperialDragon:
Thanks a lot for the welcome! I agree with Seniosh that the info you quoted concerning the Silgrad Tower here, is a very good introduction to what this mod really is. Wish I had seen that right away. It would have explained a lot about the things that confused me. (Although then I might not have posted any questions on here, and not met all you nice modders!) May I suggest creating an Introduction page where this quote is posted, combined with what is already on the Background page? Perhaps even name the page something like: "What is Silgrad Tower" Ibsen's Ghost and SACarrow: I wouldn't mind being plyed with drinks... Althought a glass of martini might be more interesting than a horn of mead. Civilization is slowly seeping into even ye olde norse country, you know... Regarding voice acting, We'll see how it works out when I return from my vacation in a month and get access to a microphone again. Blackbird and Seniosh: I'm sure I could learn to mod by reading the tutorials and playing with the toolset. I already understand the basics of it and don't think it would be too hard... actually I think it could be quite fun. But it would take a lot of time and dedication, and since I already do quite a lot of writing, play PnP's and RPG's and have other online comittments - and inbetween even have to tend to family and Real Life once in a while - there simply aren't more hours in the day. A girl's gotta sleep sometimes too, you know... Edit: spelling |

Quote:Originally posted by blackbirdYou can always learn that. There are enough tutorials on this forum (see the faq section) or the CS wiki. That's fair to say. I'm a technophobe but I still ended up doing okay with landscape modding. It depends what time you have to devote to the project. No one's getting paid here so it's up to you. Looking forward to hearing a sample or two in August, annatar2! Female VAs are very rare (and I've worked with some extremely awkward ones) but those that end up sticking around are normally those who find a hidden talent. You'd be much appreciated because you'll be needed but take care not to bite off more than you can chew. I've had too much experience of working with ladies that get halfway through something big and then stop. The key is to enjoy it and not overload yourself.
