On Dwemer ruins
Some people want the dungeons to be recognizable from TES3, but, well, here's my thought:
The Dwemer ruins never gave me the impression that they were actually cities... they felt more like connected halls and corridors. (And Bethesda continued that feeling with the Ayleid ruins.) Maybe we should try making the Dwemer ruins seem like they are ruined cities rather than interestingly themed dungeons? But maybe keep some of the more prominent ones (such as Arkngthand) somewhat recognizable. |

RE: On Dwemer ruins
YES! Great idea, I think that it could make exploring them a nice break from the usual dungeons also.

if we were to make it more city like, then once we pass the 4 or 5 tests of a dwemer ruin, we should be able to see a city, i can be small, but it seems to towers down. As it gets lower the city is more of a mining facility. higher up you go, the cleaner it gets.

good idea, but remember the Dwemer were clannish too...
Yagrum said that their Vvardenfell kingdom was a union of the Dwemer freeholds... meaning its like a very centralized confederacy ruled by powerful priest-architects and kings... like King Dumac |
