Dave - I have already found those bits. It is the MW corner you refer to that is missing. It's not in the ST activator list. And yes, the posts are listed but the meshes won't load.
I have come up with a compromise. Same with the missing picnic table style bench that's to the left of the entrance. I have replaced that with two smaller tables. We will just pretend it was demolished in a bar fight or something. |

Quote:For MWI was pointing Steve to the corner piece of the Morrowind mesh if he was to create it, that particular piece isn't featured in ST. Anyway, I looked at the file, I see your problem with the upper section and fiddled with the top section for a good half hour, and from what I tried, it cannot be done with the current pieces I'm afraid. Your best bet, would be make the top section a bit different (I mean, the interiors don't have to be exact in terms of layout and cluttering). If it's causing problems, that's what I'd suggest. Perhaps if cire or someone was to take a look at the layout, they may find a way around your problem. |

Quote:I was pointing Steve to the corner piece of the Morrowind mesh if he was to create it, that particular piece isn't featured in ST. Ah, right. Yay me. I doubt there's little than can be done with the crap assets. Does it look OK with the good ones or are they too tall as well? I've attached the latest version, with a bit of furniture and decor added. Third floor stairway isn't quite right but everything else looks OK. I've added a bit more variety to the floor to change things up and make it look like time has passed. The change of the bench works well to that end too. The planters look overly large compared to their Morrowind equivalents. I've already trimmed them down and will probably do so more. I've been pondering some unique additions. Tell me what you think... - A permanent lodging for the player that they can buy the key to. Either the basement or better yet, convert the third floor. - A living area for Ashumanu Eraishah in the basement. - Obviously we gotta fit the smith in too. I think he would be best in a basement area, separate from Ashumanu's of course. Not sure the patrons would appreciate the smells of smithing filling the air as they chug down their brews. Or did you intend his presence there purely as a merchant? - Since time has passed and Hlaalu is becoming more "imperialised", maybe mix in some Cyrodiilic drinks and food with the traditional Morrowind stuff. |

Quote:Does it look OK with the good ones or are they too tall as well? It's not that bad, it's just the pieces won't fit together, even after editing the preferences for gridsnapping, they won't fit because they're different sizes, which is annoying, because it would look pretty nice. I say continue making the upper section and try to ignore that bit for now, we may be able to fix it later. When I used the planters, I scaled them down too, I agree with them being overly large. Quote:A permanent lodging for the player that they can buy the key to. Either the basement or better yet, convert the third floor. So like a buyable house, but it's really a room? Sounds great to me! The basement suggestions sound good. Quote:So like a buyable house, but it's really a room? Sounds great to me! Yes that's it. I always liked the idea of a permanent home at an Inn. There's a great Oblivion mod called The Old Crow Inn which has a basement home the player can get for completing a quest. To fit it in with the story, let's have Ashumanu say that the Redoran attack that destroyed the smith also damaged the Tradehouse, and the repairs have put her in debt. The only way she could figure out how to make the money back quickly was to convert the top floor into a residence and sell it to someone. So now the player has a nice base of operations with smith and supplies close at hand. It's unlikely the place would come fully furnished since Ashumanu is in debt, so maybe when everything is in place and the Pawnbroker is done, you can go buy furniture from him like for the Oblivion houses. I'll place the furniture in there now however, and they can be disabled later when it comes time to code the buying quest. |

You know what, Doc? According to the Suran Concept thread, the Tradehouse was supposed to have taken over the old Slave Market building. Maybe you could incorporate that idea into a player-owned suite. I had left the Slave Market as a separate claim (even though it is now part of the tradehouse) because I though 2 buildings in a single claim might be a bit much. But you're welcome two work with that if you want (you don't need to though).

Yep, it's all sounding great.
Doc- I noticed you used a Redoran hearth when I checked the esp last time, you may have moved it since then, but I say replace that with a standard heart. I do believe there's one somewhere in the ST folders. It comes in pieces. It might fit better, but I don't know. |

I can replace it though if you tell me where to find it in the list. I did not see any hearths in the Hlaalu statics. |

Bar counter piece
After several UV-mapping mishaps, here is the bar counter round corner. I named the model using the imaginative and helpful naming convention already in place. I know it's not really appropriate for this thread, but one piece doesn't really warrant a VizDev thread. If Dave or DC could try this out, I'd appreciate it; I've tried it in the CS, but in-game is still a pain. If you all like it, VV clearly hs permission to use it and I'll PM it to Razorwing for ST inclusion. I may even do an animated bartop door.

Hey I got a question... you rock. You get a major :bananarock: for this. It's too bad I didn't have this piece when I was doing a shop in Silgrad, oh well.
