Ordinators, MQ or regular?
so, what do you guys think?
joining in MQ gives us less work and allows Dunmer and nonDunmer to start on the same place.... but allowing Dunmer to join as a faction and the only way to join is in later in the MQ is more realistic and more work.... however lettign the player join in the MQ isn't unreal, just realistically a Dunmer could join before then... |

RE: Ordinators, MQ or regular?
perhaps we give the ability to join previous to the main quest, but make it highly limited with only a few pre-MQ quests...

I voted MQ, mainly because I think that it just makes more sense from a design standpoint; it means that we can hold off on them until the proposed Release 3. Also, as long as the PC can join the Ordinators at some point, I think that players will be happy. I can see it now, a player having done the mod and then downloading the MQ add-on and being finding the loophole that lets him become an Ordinator or Armiger. His jaw drops as he realizes that he suddenly has two new and absolutely awesome factions available! Too bad that they're mutually exclusive. He'll just have to play through twice.

I vote MQ, because as I understand it, making them a joinable faction would exclude membership to only Dunmer players. Or did I just interpret that wrong? Either way, I agree with Vrenir; as long as they are joinable in some way, players will be happy.

It makes sense to have them as a mainquest, so Im guessing we have 5 mainquests factions now?
Hlaalu/Imperials Redoran/Temple Telvanni/House of Troubles/Ashlanders Ordinators/Temple 6th House Right? |

It depends on what part of the MQ you're talking about. There are two parts, probably to be worked on and released seperately.
1) House War [Hlallu/Imperial/Nord, Redoran/Indoril/Dres, Telvani/Betmeri/Ashlanders/HofT, Dagoth?] 2) Sixth House Conflict [Ordinators, Armigers, generic Temple Crusaders, Sixth House] |

I was just talking mainquests in general. But yeah, that answered my question

I guess we take out the 6th House from House War... it would be too complicated....
plus, then eveyone would gang up on 6th House and that wouldn't be fun at all |

That was my leaning as well. The PC can still join them for the final stage of the MQ.
