Patrolling Guards
In Cyrodiil, there will be guards / soldiers mounted on horseback patrolling the countryside, aiding traveler's against bandits and beasts. Understandably the majority of Vvardenfell's land is not safe and has no guards patrolling it, but I believe that the Ascadian Isles and parts of the West Gash would have guard patrols.
What do you guys think? Redoran Patrols: Redoran Watchmen Hlaalu Patrols: Hlaalu Watchmen Imperial Patrols: Imperial Vanguard I did not have Telvanni in as most of their holdings are isolated places and in the wilds with no roads or anything, therefore making patrols impractical. Additionally, the independent style of Telvanni society make it unlikely that a wizard would have his troops patrol for the benefit of other Telvanni. The Telvanni would not do that normally. The Redoran Watchmen could be wearing the Watchman's Helm and riding a guar. He would wear netch leather armor or chitin armor and most likely be armed with a spear or a club to deter enemies and keep the roads safe. The Hlaalu Watchmen could be wearing netch leather, or iron in imitation of the Imperials. They would be armed with a sword and shield and ride guars while patrolling the roads and helping travelers. The Imperial Vanguard could be just like Cyrodiils, although horses may not be so great seeing as how about half of Vvardenfell's environments are unhealthy for horses. However, as the only places that the Imperials would patrol would be the from Buckmoth to Moonmoth, and Ebonheart to Pelagiad, their patrols are few. |

Hmm. sounds good.
but, even though the blight is gone, their are still sandstorms, and those things can pick the flesh off the bone, the redoran riders might need some sort of script to make them disapear during sandstorms for realities sake. Minor thing, and could probally be ignored, but just though id bring it up |

I wouldn't say dissapear completely, but maybe they all group into one big hundle and wait out the storm? Them dissapearing would seem like a glitch in most peoples eyes, I would think. But them actually changing their behavior in response to the weather would just seem very life like.

Sounds like a good idea, it will certainly bring more realism and life into the game.

Could we have it so say, a Hlaalu patrol walked into redoran territory and gets attacked by the closest redoran patrol? Since the AI, that could easily happen, and it would add alot of immersion to stumble upon something like that
