Poems in the Tune of Love...
Love has inspired poetry since the dawn of man. Here are some of mine on that subject!
We'll start with married love... His Love, Her Love I am surprised to find I love my husband I knew I loved him before, but not like this; When we were married, though the sex was bliss - The irresistable force would the immoveable object ram, Well - then, I thought "this isn't moving along to plan" - I am surprised to find I love my wife Heck, I married her 'cos I thought I had no choice - Told me "Time to get married, but it's not the end - - if you can find a way, U still a bachelor, man!" Funny the way things happen in life - Through my marriage I'm convinced of reincarnation: I've died and become a new wife many times since I've changed from a girl to a (hidden) grey woman And from pupa to butterfly and way back again - Funny, I'm not even worried about death any more! And through my marriage I discovered the meaning of life - (Something a man cannot really do without a wife) Ah, the rocks in her brain matched the holes in my head And the skips of her heart matched the lapses on my part! Yes, now I truly and clearly see - She really IS the rest of me! I am surprised: I actually understand my husband And I don't even know when that happened He lifts a foot and I can see where he's going He says a word and I hear the paragraph! The map is clear; just one look and - I see all the lay of the land! Don't know about women, but I know my wife She's every other page in my Big book of life And now I can read through without any stumble The way is clear through this tangled life's jungle She always read my mind, but now I read her too jest fine! Ah, husband, and so let me ask you Weren't we quite good, this venture's joint crew? We don't even need to command any more I know what You know what We need for shore, And in this Harmony's sail we know we'll never fail! Sure, wife: We've gone through fire and strife: And what we've done may not be poetic, quite: So with tears and laughter and a little name-calling We've stumbled through life without an out-falling And hey, smile, baby; now, let's all sing tonight ... His Love, Her love, Our love is All love His Part, Her Heart, We know it's all Trust Let's live, One life, and One Love that's all ours And into, That night, We'll go, Holding Hands (Like it? I have 100 more - but this will do for starters.)

And another one..
To die for The first time, I remember, I trembled in fear For you. Tenderness. This one, so near, to my heart, my heat, arms crossed, curled feet Struck to my heart in her quivering beat Stuck to my heart in her fragrance sweet And the night went deep in stars of heat Love above the shadows cooling Gently, let me come and see Time, slow my eye-tears, and sing The song of every lover faceless The time I remember lays light as a feather Kissed on a cheek now dreaming in a pillow The dawn breaking slow and mellow Time brings Love's slow gazing And opens eyes to look into a smile Gently embracing every Lover's right. Now as I look forward I look back in desire Smile, as love sheaths me in pure white fire Holy is this pure passion; deep, past all ire Hate shrivels where Love shrives beyond all mire. Take my hand? And so we'll talk, light, laughing Gentle, with wit and tender words so healing All poison from dark wounds lost in mind And sweet laughter wells up to heal with words kind Still smiling, we'll hear the kiss of music Brush past our ears to hearts of mind - Ah, heart of mine, heed those sweet words - Your whisper, to me, my desire stirs - Sweet songs, the flesh sings, soaring, soaring, Sweet songs that yet brings my blood, stiffening, From deep within the beat trips, quickening, Our need, Be mine. And thine. Thighs, Arms, Breasts, Lips, Hips, each know where and why, and as they touch and fuse Naked comes the desire we yearn to use. Kiss. Hard. Desire is now stern And mounts freely offered flesh that yearns To be one with the hunger singing this song - "Lover, wouldst thou kiss me, hard and long?" Shall we laugh? Ah, needn't say - Mirth will tickle us all the way - I don't know why I laugh, and don't care Pure joy trickles, then floats through the air So walk through my flesh into my open heart And there, tell me where my love starts! Shall we start? Yes, let's make simple Love, My sex into yours, lips, teasing apart, It's true, what we do is right and holy The blessing of Sex in Holy Communion. I remember thrusting in you an age ago And the thousand times since still can show Each time is the first, Each time the last For in orgasm we open our mind's cast And reveal the chrysalis waiting within For what is love, if not to seek death? And what is death, if not eternal life? As my seed flows to egg, I willingly die, As your egg grows to life, reborn am I, So fragile, love, yet walks beyond the stars With a strength that staggers ego's scars It is with this knowledge that the word f**k transcends the mud and filth of the ego-struck into a power of soul that turns pure gold the dross of damp sex into white infinity Thus take me. In fine, you are, As mine as I am yours, together, past mere union of gonad or flesh or hunger's communion And now warp-speed past life-death profane To a white universe of stars beyond our plane.

And...yet another one! Tremble, Forum, for the Moose
er... erm.. um... The Muse...is loose! ...............Friends and Lovers............. Reach within your soul and what's there is dry meat Food, yes, but none of the delight there is there to eat Sweet nourishment of the other, we need and crave Strong fibers from another, to weave and to build Ourselves. Lonely as a star in blackness, do we not need light? Call me. We stand in need of a lift from gravity, Rise up from the lead, dark, heavy with self-study Resurgam from Solitaire. Come. Let me catch you, Spin into my orbit from your wandering across space, Be the Sun that melts the ice that kills life - - as I, too, will be to yours. Come. Warm is your smile, See the green shoots that rise up and dance gladly, There's new life in those buds. I stand amazed, Wondering at the wit I never knew I possessed, Amazed at the life and the light that lies in my flesh, And above all, joy. Free. Simple. Your love's caress, Sets free the frozen muse of what's happy and new Calling to arms the awesome army of all amours Against such a flood, what could resist? The tide brings all, Surging and lifting our souls to heights yet unknown, That we may see the wonder of what's now being shown. So go forth, and knock. We're waiting. The door, Behind which we were all such prisoners before, Lies waiting, it's stoneface hiding a promise of wonder, Open, and we'll see the old dooms swept asunder! Friends to walk through and bring gifts of joy and love, Lovers to walk in and bring love and joy as gifts.
