??? I need ideas... i am reworking the site to accomodate a TES3 version... the homepage will be so cool, trust me...

it will be an underwater scene and have an invisible circle with links
the entire page is a lot of images. There will be joint Storyline and Models, and Concept Art, and Lore and Features pages, but there will be separate homepages for the TES3 and TES4 versions, for news, progress, teams, links, etc. And the Forums will be arranged similar to this...

As far as a name for the Mod it would depend on how the story will go.

Rise of the Dreugh: gives the impression that the Dreugh Culture is again ready to become masters of the planet or at least attempt this.

Dreugh Hegemony: Again the impression is an attempt to control, this could work if your qest line is based in a specific area where the Dreugh have gained influence over the people of that area and they could be controlling them in the same respect as the Sixth House did with the Dreamers

Lost Dreugh Civilizations: Could work, if your basing your story around discovering these Civilizations and either helping to cultivate them or destroy them for good

Same with Undersea Denizens

and that leaves us with Emmergent Resurgence: which could actually fit with either story line chosen, it doesn't give the impression of an attempt to control or influence (per se) just a revival of the culture (My Choice)

I think to really decide, we have to concure on what type of mod it will be
and how it will fit into the current Morrowind scenerio

Do we add it as a seperate Mod to MW or ST
Where is the primary location going to be

These questions don't need answering right now but it needs to be considered

well I was thinking that (you) don't know of these civilizations YET, however I was planning for it to require Vvardenfell (or TES3)

you see, most of it has been planned out but is not final, so you input is crucial... a few things you need to know
- uses Iliac Bay, Sea of Ghosts, Nibenay Basin, and Maelstrom of Bal as well as a Cold-harbor area, like this map
- Dreugh may have had a civilization in the Nibenay according to my theory on ESForums
- there is plenty of space for Lore-making

okay super-spoiler of my ideas



there will be a Dreugh-jigger in Dreugh-jigger's Rest on the Bitter Coast who will tell of a city of Dreugh he saw way up north. You will have a journal entry that says that you should talk to a crazy Argonian called Big Head. You go and talk to Big Head who says he visits them every so often and tells them about wordly news and such and that the Dreugh are curious creatures.

and you discover them... and the Queen of the Dreugh is still alive... and has a vendetta against Vivec.... and Vivec, who killed the Ruddy Man, tried to kill the boy inside of the shell (I;m sure you know the story). However I am making up a twist, which is that the boy's name was Koal, hence Koal Cave. He put on the shell to impress his clan but was possessed. Later Vivec beat him up and took the shell. To save his life, the dreugh gathered him up and his body parts and asked Molag Bal to intervene. Molag Bal promised Koal that he'd get the Ruddy Man shell back again. He did later as a wayward shaman of the House of Troubles but Vivec struck him down again. Now he is a legless Dunmer-Dreugh morph thing and is burning with anger to kill Vivec.

then you can decide to be on Vivec's Side or not... the Queen asks you to help Koal exact his revenge. there will be several quests and such... eventually, you either kill Koal with Vivec, or banish Vivec to Oblivion with Koal who feels that Molag Bal would do a better job of torturing Vivec.
after this there are 2 paths depending on who you went with....

Koal then says there are other Dreugh to save.... so you go to Dirennei tower on Balfiera. Undersea nearby is an abandoned Dreugh city and the greatest of them all. The Dirennei clan-leader in the tower has the King of Dreugh imprisoned in the depths of the Tower. You must free the King of Dreugh and help him get back to the Sea. You may also want to win the Lamia on your side before the Dirennei do. After you revitalize the Iliac Bay Dreugh, you go to the Nibenay River Valley. The big bulge in the Nibenay once had a fledgling civilization. Going in there will reveal an extensive grotto system with Dreugh still living there. They say that their every attempt to rebuild is being struck down by the Wild Elves, Ayleids. They are being kept feral by the Ayleids who fear the Dreugh will return to power. You basically help them rebuilt and kill Ayleids.

if you go with Vivec it is basically reverse, help Vivec stop the King from being freed and defend the Adamantine (Dirennei) Tower from the Dreugh, and help the Ayleids crush the Dreugh in the Nibenay....

Molag Bal then contacts you and says you must bring Koal and yourself to ColdHarbor and slay Vivec, you do so and help Molag Bal with a few things... and then final quest is to kill Vivec. To get to Cold-harbor you need to go into the Maelstrom of Bal and get there. Once all 3 civilizations are made Molag Bal will descend to the Maelstrom from Oblivion and once again take up his throne... however Vivec will escape and try to get back to nirn so you and Koal must stop him. he will go to an Imperial City replica and try to help the damned people fight Molag Bal as he opens a portal to help escape through. So it won't be easy.

Vivec then says to go to Cold-harbor and finish this once and for all. In Cold-Harbor there is a sort of replica of the Imperial City except war-torn and under siege. However the Dragonfires of this city are saving the people within from Molag Bal. The Prince purposely made a replica and lured in people so that he could practice besieging the city. However, Vivec says if he can shut off the fires, lure Molag Bal in, and then re-light them Molag Bal will be trapped within and others cannot come in to get him, basically imprisoned, and then once all this happens, you are all suddenly in the Vivec's Palace and Vivec says it is done, the Dreugh are crushed, Molag Bal thwarted, and Vivec achieves CHIM.

the Nibenay can be easily modded in TES4, but in TES3 it may require a specially made interior cell or something to make the river valley... we can invisi-wall it off and say it is unsafe to go to further or whatever.
in both TES3 and TES4 Balfiera Isles will have to be a separate cell sort of thing

this Realm is Molag Bal's realm and since he is of domination, rape, and abomination, I think he should have Gilverdale in there, a Valenwood town he destroyed and all the inhabitants are there as damned slaves. there will an evil forest nearby full of minotaurs, and other creatures who went to his side. Then there will be an evil bog, like the Dead marshes in Lord of the Rings. In has all the dead spirits of the Aldmer who attacked his throne. Crazed and enslaved Aedroths haunt the bog as well as evil Argonians who had turned to his side. In the dark river live Dreugh who have a place. Then on the otherside of the river is a barrne wasteland, like Molag Amur or Mordor. Here goblins and other beasts slave away for Molag Bal.

*the mention of the Throne of Molag Bal is a theory of mine that Bal had an undersea throne where the Maelstrom is now. The Throne acted as a natural Tower. A Balance of chaos and stasis instead of the Aedroth and Aldmer towers to stasis and unlike the Daedra realms of chaos. However it also kept specific conditions that helped the Dreugh. The Aedra and Aldmer attacked it and drove Bal away and went on to crush the Dreugh but Bal turned it into an anti-Tower, sucking away creatia and trapping the Aedroths and Aldmer, though many escaped. So now it counteracts the other Towers.

you know there are dreugh at the coast of Skyrim to.. (my quess would be round Winterhold to Solitue..)

you know there are dreugh at the coast of Skyrim to.. (my quess would be round Winterhold to Solitue..)

yeah there are... says so in the Red Kitchen Reader.. but I don't recall any evidence of a civilization there... though i hope the Skyrim mod has Dreugh living off the coasts and near the coast....
which reminds me... we need several water Dreugh models as well as Land dreugh models, especially for TES3...
