Love the content Razorwing.
If I could I would like to make a suggestion though. I don't know if you place the plant life, if someone else does, or if it is randomly generated. In any case, my opinion is that plant life needs to grow in clusters. For instance, I think that heather should grow next to a bunch of other heather, unlike Morrowind's format of placing heather and other plants as solitary things. My reasoning is that it just seems more realistic this way. When I walk outside, I don't see single sprigs of grass sprouting up next to eachother, or one flower growing out by itself, I see it in small clusters and clumps. That's my two cents on the matter. If anyone else agrees, feel free to take it into consideration when the landscape undergoes another overhaul.

It's generated, and then tweaked by hand as time permits.

Good point bringing up the issue of time. I suppose that making plant life in my described manner would be pretty time consuming...

Time to show what I've been doing these last couple of days
First I made an Imperial bucket (youtube video). It's sized the same as Vineyardbucket04. There's a clutter version with physics, a static version with water - and a static version with a hinged handle, so you can fold down the handle in-game. Why? Because it was fun! And I wanted the practice to take with me to other jobs, like hinged shop signs. My other jobs let me make a successful entry into the world of Oblivion animation (youtube video). I made a small cauldron that you can take the lid off of, and I made a potter wheel for ZDawg which has a pedal going down and a stone slab spinning around. The chair is a separate model by the way, and one that's already in our mod. I also fixed my first and failed attempt at animation, a vender stall from the Temple compound in Soluthis, which you can now open. There's no point to it, but you can. A big thanks goes out to nick_op who taught me how to export animation. =) These models are a bit silly, but they were good practice and I'm sure they can give players a nice surprise when they can suddenly open a little door here or fold down a bucket handle there. Now that I'm a bit more confident about animation perhaps I can take requests from modders here on stuff they want to use in their claims?

I would say that anything that brings life to a mostly static enviroment is not silly. You may have just added hours of play time for me. Great job RW.

Man, the pottery wheel is AMAZING. I couldn't have asked for a better model! I can't believe it, you modeled that down to every last detail. I mean, I can even see the shaft that links the foot petal to the turning rod inside!! Now that is talent if I've ever seen it.
I'd just like to say that I appreciate your work beyond words, and I think you deserve a round of applause for being so consistent with your quality. :goodjob:

So you've been busy learning animations, eh? You're moving up in the modeling world! Before you know it, you'll be making even more complex stuff.
I saw the videos - nice work! Koniption
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

As I said via PM nice work! :goodjob:
The animated cauldron looks great. A suggestion/question. Would it be possible to create another version where you replace the water part of the nif and make it look like soup and/or stew? These could be used in Inns with a large kitchen.

Zurke, Koniption: Thankyou, I'm glad you folks like them
ZDawg: Thanks, I'm flattered you think so highly of it (and me) I had fun adding that extra bit of realism to it. A part of me wishes I could have left the rods in the open though, so one could see how they hung together to make the stone wheel spin. I just couldn't imagine how they did, plus the reference image you supplied had the rod going into the body so I figured it would work out best all-round to keep it covered. sandor: Thanks! Yes that wouldn't be very hard for me. I'll add it to my to-do-list
