So you think Falstaff was inconsequential to Sheakspear's works? And the four comedy plays he wrote? Not 'serious?'
I can see that your style is to understate - very different to my usual bull in the china shop, but don't undervalue. If laughter improves health, then what effect does playing a computer game that makes you laugh have on you, compared with one that has none? And you are correct that there are lots of things you might have considered to tweak, but it stands up on its own already, and you must have lots to do, so let me bung stuff in, then you get to edit my edit of your work, and keep or delete as you will. If you want another storyline to work on at a later date for your pair, then there is an old joke about the smuggler who spent 40 yrs crossing the border into Switzerland from France every morning with an apparently empty wheelbarrow, and returning evening empty-handed. After a while the border guards became curious and started searching him, but they never found anything, even when they totally dismantled his wheelbarrow. In the fortieth year he decided to retire, and he went to the border one last time (emptyhanded) and told the guards that he was very impressed with their professionalism, not only had they taken his barrows to pieces, they had put them back together again better than they had been in the first place. And it had been a pleasure to know them. The guards were astounded by this, but they had one last question to ask. For forty years they had seen him pass by. They had tried everything they could think of, but had to admit defeat. Would he, just for the sake of old times, and they promised that this would be just between them, put them out of their misery, and tell them what he was smuggling? Because they knew he was smuggling something. "Oh, sure," he said, "I was smuggling wheelbarrows."

So? Being a Tooth Fairy is a very important job. Not everyone has those cute little wings...and the ladies love them.
![]() Besides, for most people who have not got a job, it is just a question of looking beyond the normal. There are lots of places and people around that need help, so just look to see what you can turn your hand to. Don't worry about being rich, or on a high wage, or any wage for that matter. If you learn how to make yourself useful that will come. :alert: Hey, what am I, an agony aunt?

Great story Razorwing, its short and sweet, and has an excellent ending. Its one of those rare pieces that dosnt need any added descriptions or dialogue as filler for the message. :goodjob:
