Round-up of 'what needs to be done' in 3D

This is a partial repost of a PM I wrote,
since I thought it could be good to
get the information out there for
those who weren't with us before
Oblivion's launch.

There's no shortage of 'job opportunities' in the project, on which no-one else is working on at the moment, and which would be highly useful. The mother load of all of it is a Redoran interior tile set (also called "placeables" in some game communities). During the last year it's been sequentially picked up and dropped by three modellers. I had a go at it myself too, actually, but when I imported it after the game was released I realized it didn't work. The pieces just didn't line up.

There is also a number of Redoran "accessory" models which would be really cool to have. One is a lamp post, from which one can hang for instance a paper lantern like the one I made, alternatively the lamp or other light source could be included with the post model. Another is a sidewalk system that differs visually from the one Bethesda uses in Oblivion, which could be used in Redoran settlements. An outhouse that allures to Redoran design would be rather funny to have too, hehe. But those are just my ideas - perhaps you have ideas of your own on Redoran accessories you would like to model?

Apart from that, we still need furniture and several types of plants. I have an old model reference thread on those subjects which might be interesting to read. 'Course, now that we have NifSkope the references aren't much use, but we didn't know that back then.

Apart from the scrib cabbage there's no modelled replacement plants from Tribunal or Bloodmoon, but I myself and others have modelled replacements for almost every plant from the standard TES3 game. These are the plants from the standard TES3 game that remains to be modelled:

Roobrush
Scathecraw
Slough Fern

The plant list in the thread is slightly inaccurate. Some have been modelled after it was last edited, one (slough fern) has been withdrawn. I couldn't get the Poser model to work in the low poly range an Oblivion plant model needs to be.

There's no modelled furniture or velothi pillars. There's a handful of lights available, mostly just the paper lanterns and a few candlesticks from the 'Common Dunmer Lights' category.

Whichever you choose, all of the model jobs above would be very useful to our mod. TIA!
