Shaman Clothing
I've been experimenting with the 'Druid armors and weapons' set uploaded by tumbajamba over at TesNexus: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27275 . Infuriatingly, the bits and pieces I wanted don't seem to be in the set such as the shrunken heads and skull-belt.
However, I did find one set of add-ons that may be useable and tried various things out using the other bits and pieces. One approach was to adapt the newtscale set so as to effectively give our Bhuru shaman a more martial look (see the first four pics) but personally, my favourite is to opt for the simple approach with a robe (see the next two). Ideally, I'd still go for shrunken heads hung across a reptillian belt with a skull motif and maybe a book at the side. Combine that with tattered robes that hang around the knees and thighs and it's a do-able look. And yet it's still not quite the ideal look as shown in the last two pics or, better still, in this concept design from an Art student's blog: http://clara-moon.blogspot.com/2010/07/blog-post.html . I think I'd best look to outside sources to see if I can get something like that. I'd need an expert clothing specialist, methinks....

Well, I have still been working on some primitive clothing of my own, though it goes slowly, for what it is worth. I'm still on that female outfit, too, because I've been jumping around from task to task, to get other more important things done (like solving the Soulrest CTD issue, and other tasks).
What you can do, is go to TesNexus and look up mods that add unique armors to one's game...then look at the readme docs of the mod or see who the uploader was, to see who might have been the creator of that armor. It should give you some idea of who knows how to make armors and skin them properly. Then you can decide who to contact for extra help in making more clothes/armors that we need, hopefully. Koniption
Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off.

Mr_Siika would be a good choice, no idea if he still mods though, not seen him in a while.
Do you have any pics of what you were looking for?, I had a look at the mod but did not spot any images of what you were on about.

They're the eighth and twelfth pictures down the page....there's loads of images there though so it's difficult to flick through them all...here you go...
Nice to see you back with us, IS...looking forward to seeing progress in Upper Soulrest. With the amendments I made recently, that city is going to be looking pretty special... Come to think of it, besides mr_siika, some of the German Nehrim team might fancy a stab at clothing...

Shhhh I'm not back yet :lmao:, Learned quite a bit during my time away, will be nice to put it to use on something other than weapons.
Either too many pictures or I'm just lazy, lol The chain belt in the first pic would be easy enough to recreate, since it's using vanilla heads you could swap them out with any creature head of choice. Also a lot of that armor is vanilla stuff, just chopped up and re-positioned. Nice to see something different being made with vanila stuff.

Cheers for that...thought it might be all vanilla stuff but Shamanic clothing such as I mentioned at the top would be ideal as it would pretty much complete our clothing collection...
Btw, I know that Koniption sent you the files for the Garuda. If you or anyone you know can help with that then that would be of immense benefit to finally get this race sorted and in-game.

The clothing in the pics is a lot better than vanilla stuff, some parts of it, ie the belt, sandles ect, look easy enough to make. Not sure about the head dress though.
Yup I recieved the files, gotta dig out my copy of Max and see if I can help.

Cool...
I'm actually not all that keen on the head-dress. Bears and antlers don't really fit too well with BM's own creatures. Indeed, with COM's Argonian headsets, we don't really have much need for anything special in terms of headwear...just voodoo-esque shamanic clothing, really.
