Even without the ability to create new animations, it will be easy to swap a farmer's hoe for a pick and make him work in a cave. Sure he'll be hacking away at only the floor, but it's good enough for now. :goodjob:

Actually, this IS a legitimate request. Great care should be taken to make sure that this mod has all of the same feeling TES3 had... somewhat dark, mysterious, interesting, unique, exotic, yet home-y (this "home-y" feeling was mostly contributed to by the amount of dialogue choices... some would argue that that just makes NPC's Wikipedia-like, but I feel that it allows freedom to ask about many things that you'd like to know about, and that really helps with the immersion).
I also think we should find a way around having to place huge walls around towns. Those huge walls make the towns feel like they're not part of the world, which harms the immersion. |

Arklons right about that. The super high walled towns are weird. And now archers can't stand on them. One of the actual reasons for building a huge wall. Besides for defense which is blown through by Oblivion gates.
I liked the small walls the Morrowind towns had. The wiki npcs of Morrowind, which weren't that horrible, were replaced with npcs that only have 1 or 2 dialogue options. I also liked the feeling Tes3 had. |

ah, we got to the point I was going for
yeah, It's not we can't change anything as long as the player will have te feeling he actually is in a refined and more beautiful morrowind (with an extra stressed morrowind). When you think about it, we don't have the opurtunity to make a city wall like was done in oblivion, I mean, look at balmora, these walls would be very easy to jump over... I once tried doing that in oblivion (with the jump potion found in the drunken mudcrab) But the result isn't what you call nice... Besides, a lot of feeling would be left out if we did try making these walls... About the wikipedia NPC's: if it's doable with the voice acting part, I think we should try it as hard as possible to create the pedia-NPC's I think this dark, mysterious, exotic feeling we should be getting, is greatly caused by the ground textures and the lighting. And we shoulkd really put alot of effort in that.

were making cities interiors such as caldera,balmora,ald-ruhn,sadrithmora, all telvanni holds,gnisis,vivec,ebonheart, but hla oad and khuul and gnaar mok can stay exterior for they have yet to reach the statues of interior/city

It makes it seem better. Say someone is attacking instead of straight up walking in. You have to get in threw the gate which makes sense since Vvardenfell is a troubled land it would have walls towers and gates to protect the city. If u had guys in the front of the gate holding off against some attackers the attackers have a disenvantage because their goal is to get into the gate. It also makes sense and adds to lore.

now, there WERE walls, and why, really, why change unnecessary things? I mean: what's wrong with the way it was, additionally, with all the hills around, you should either change the landscape, which is no option(!) or make the walls so high you can't jump on it, whivh would take away the entire feeling of morrowind and make the mod suck so badly your grandma in Pekistan would fall over dead immediatly.
I'm being more than reious here and with all the respect in my soul: Do not make the cities Interior cells
