Just a few scattered pieces

A sea of swirling crystals dance about me in a scarlet haze. There are a hundred twinkling reflections contained within each luminous gem, as I see myself inside of them I feel a longing to be free swelling up within me, a pull to the sky to dance amongst the clouds. I stop and picture myself, up there with my dreams, soaring through the sky in pursuit of some faint sparkle in the distance. A dazzling flash spreads all around me, there I see my goal, not a twinkle but a roaring flame, I reach out and grasp it, letting it melt between my fingers. And then its gone, I'm falling and all my dreams are too high for me to hold onto, cold droplets of sorrow run down cheeks and fall up from me as I realize what has happened, and then I am back on earth, cold and alone with nothing but an ancient blanket for comfort. I pull it around me as it extends to impossible lengths,keeping me warm and secure, and here I lie, no longer pursuing the twinkle, now gone, but instead I dance with the light of the memory in my head, for that can never leave me.


Like a cascade of black leather water, darkness falls around my torpid form and robs my sight from me. As the light vanishes my eyes fade until they are gone, in their place now lie two brilliantly bright voids of black, that which was once me stares back at you with a vibrance that I never had, it was always beyond my grasp. In the turbulent solitude of silence, the violent cacophony of my thoughts shake the very fiber of my heart, and so I break. Pieces of me fly in every direction, arcing through the velvet drape, tied to the needle point sparks and the whirlwind minds. And now I'm gone, no longer here, not even a void, but a reflection of space, and it is here that you may find yourself, a mirror of love, or perhaps a window of hate.


Freewheeling Starbursts of truth and reflection tearing down all of your walls
the giant black suit with a hammer of lies beating in all of your skulls
A fireside whisper lost to the sea calls a name that nobody knows
It leads to a house where the garden of free and the world of creative glee grows

You take a sit in the tree by the sky and your eyes start to glow as vision light dies
A hundred new winds of loving lifes lost drift through your ears as the mother earth cries
We've all had enough of the stuffy blue collars and the pompously petty prententious blind lies
A thousand new calls for the large and the tall to fall from on high and make free all the skies

A brilliant burst of sunflower light
came creeping into my life
before exploding in sound and vision
showing me the path to make it all right

though life never gives me
what it shows that it can
its gifts of contentment
and purity in life free

And so I await the day to pass
For what may never come
A smile, a joy, a dream and a vision
Is there more for which I can ask?

The lies and deeds of those who precede me climb upon my back and ride me to the very pits of despair and back to the height of the mountain of hope, daring me to jump but I cannot, for his weight has pinned me to the ground and robbed me of my breath. Still I crawl forward in what may be a futile attempt to reach the valley, and climb to the heights beyond. Regardless of what I'm told and regardless of what I feel, the past cannot touch me, I wisper this to myself as I draw my first breath, and pray that it will not be my last.

As I lengthen my stride in an attempt to traverse the frigid wasteland of the teenager, and to distance myself from the world at large, I find myself running into a wind so strong that the snow and ice blind me, the torrential winds keep me from moving, and the cold slowly eats away at my very soul. Soon I cease to even try, there is nowhere I am going to, I know only that which I flee, and it is all around me. There is nowhere left to turn, except inward, so inside I creep into a world so vast alien that I wish to run and hide, but there is no other place to go, so I press on. A song all my own drifts through my inside to resonate with the pain in my mind, and it is here where I come to see all the evils that have lead to what I am, and I realize that its evil because you say it is, never I. Free to be and afraid to see, I climb into my own boat, and follow old lucy into the sky, and with the diamonds I do grow.

An isolated mind of encapsulated thoughts
A solitary soul alone in a sea of ghosts
I struggle to be free as my essence slowly rots
I am alone
I am alone

Something inside me holds me back
Something struggles to be whole
My visions of the crowd fade to black
I am cold
I am cold

Perhaps she can be my answer
And might she be friend and guide
Mayhap I can follow and join her
Maybe
Maybe



Inside me is a purity
A warm embrace of joy
A love ever burning
Inside I'm just a boy
But in my life learning
I lose certainty

As we are heading forwards, our footsteps
are treading in old paths of glory
to be seen and redeemed
What I am, this dimension of mine
has no time, I am the dreams of the universe

Heavenly, immortally the dreams do flow in circles
carried by the stars beyond
In my elusive dreams I am torn apart
I am forever vanquished
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Cold, dead and pale, eyes dry and veiled
Souls burnt and vanished, feeding the ground
Infusing a bride, giving birth to life

As landscapes change and erupt, we will
flower, glow and wither
repeatedly, cosmic ideas
I am gliding like a sphere over you, pouring
out the cosmic fantasy, which is eternalized

Your life is but an empty shell without understanding
I try to realize what makes the glory of myself
Filled by blood, veins of life soon all turned to dust
Hunting at the shadows from an alien rival

The pulse of life, the time of mine
Melts in the storm of this unchangeable world
My dreams will die in spheres without time

Without time, my dreams are hopeless, what am I
without any paths or landscapes
to explore, I will perish
Heavenly immortallity - to dissolve and
travel up to this hidden dimension
