Subarctic pinetree
When I came across this model it instantly made me think about the Jarnhald region in Silgrad Tower: Oblivion. It wouldn't be suitable as a full-scale tree, I think, both because of it's extremely optimized poly count and because of the speedtree technology, but if it was used as a waist-high bush-type object I think both the poly count and staticness of it wouldn't be so pronounced to the player. So I spent some time on it, fixed a bark texture that was missing and, for effect, made a simple pinecone that grows out of it.
So the question is, should we use it more or less frequently as a bush-type flora in our subarctic areas?

Neat, I definitely like it. =)
And to answer your question: yes, we should. Greetings Quentin
That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs, but what a ship is - what the Black Pearl really is - is freedom.

Cool. I think I'll have a go at converting it to NIF later tonight too, so it can be checked out.

Said and done, the pine trees have been unleashed and they come in two versions, one for Morrowind modding and one with bumpmaps and such for Oblivion.
