Wow this thread got off-topic. What needs to be decided now, is how much of this idea we should use. I personally thought it was quite a good concept, and think it should be developed- finally a use for one of those strange machines found in TES3.

Me too. Perhaps someone can make a concept art drawing for it, to guide a modeller who'd be interested in creating the model?

A new idea for the machine would be nice to have, it would be consistant with the dwemer machine style, not something that loks completely out of place
If we want to consider using the dwemer machines from ES3 as a basis then I would recommend using the dwrv beltdrive activator and the sotha_ mon_mach (the mon_mach is what was in Sotha clockwork city) it was used to make the fabircants It would need to be textured and scaled accordingly Enjoy Bob

Did we ever really decide how large it was going to be? I thought portable, but that doesn't say a lot about size. For concept art we need at least a size restriction, and then we can let artists run wild with dwemer stuff.
Also, can either bob or insanity draw? I certainly have no artistic abilities, and i have no scanner, so if either of you can do it, that's great. Otherwise, we'll have to decide on a rough idea of how large it's going to be, and beg someone with artistic talant to do it. Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala

OK I got that out of the way Yes I think we decided portable which really makes no difference cause were not letting the player take it with them. But it should be around the size of a large Dwemer Chest Drawing no problem, scanning thats different, my scanner is toast I could probably use my sisters I will work on it Enjoy Bob

Well if you're doing the concept art, it doesn't matter, you know what you meant by it. Gasp! someone other than myself, bob, or insanity has posted! Concept art would be great, whether tomorrow or next week. Then we just have to get it modelled, like every other dwemer piece in the game *groans* it'll take forever, and nobody in Dumac is a modeller [at least out of me, bob, and insanity]
