Team Roster and Signups
Ok everyone - time to get organized. Aside from Arsonide, I don't think anyone knows who all wants to help out. So, in this thread give a brief introduction and summarize any previous modding experience, or related skills, that you have.
I'm Smight of moderate modding fame from Morrowind (http://smight.silgrad.com), I've modded for other games but never released anything for them. I can model, texture, world build, and script. |

I'm Arsonide, I am mainly a scripter. I did several mods for Morrowind but I only released one, Primal. Most were script heavy systems type mods that added features to the game, rather than quests or landmass. Usually I'd be taking a whack at something impossible, like dungeons that randomly generated inside the game, and I'd hit Morrowind's limitations a lot. We had to work around these limitations, and it was often times frustrating, yet fun.
However, in several mods I had to cross into uncharted territory and design an interior cell, work with dialog, modify existing exterior cells, and so on. In my last project, which was a total conversion, we had to randomly generate terrain using height maps from Terragen imported to Morrowind with a program known as Littoral. I wrote a few tutorials for that, but Littoral definately had it's limitations, so when I saw the landmass tools for Oblivion my jaw dropped, and I immediately started the Elsweyr Confederacy. Oblivion not only removes the limitations that we've encountered in Morrowind, performance wise, technology wise, and mod wise, but it paves the way for Tamriel to be realized in gorgeous 3D. With the right people this will not only be completed, but we'll want to do more when we're done. :bananarock: |

I have great experience in terraining and map-making in RTS games...
though I understand TES mapping is more complex so I hope I can help out in that when not in my own mod... but I think my strength is my very modest skill in art... so hopefully I can draw some concept art and stuff ...its the least I can do, and I cannot promise too much.... |

I had no modding experience in Morrowind, but if the CS is easier in Oblivion, then I might just be able to mod a few quests in.
My main source of attempting to help out is to write quests (mostly misc., but I have not attempted to throw a faction storyline together). So far I have met mostly praise, and the criticisms have been very well deserved. I have taken full note of all the criticism, and it has helped me quite a bit, I think. I hope I can be helpful here, but not knowing the CS will probably be a fairly bad limitation... |

I still haven't decided if I will be part of the "team" per se, but I'll definitely be hanging out and helping out as I can.
Scripting is certainly my forte, but I consider myself generally competent with the CS. I have a fair amount of Photoshop skill, but my attempts to port that to retexturing have been limited, though mildly successful - but I generally don't really like doing it. I also am (if I say so myself) rather good at website design (or, at least, I'm good at Photoshop for the graphics and I'm good at HTML/CSS - not sure if I actually good at 'design'). In addition, I have great love for TES lore, and know a fair bit of it, and I suspect that is the capacity in which I will help most with this project.

Hey, I'm Severed, and I'll be working mainly on 3d art; more specifically architecture such as buildings as well as dungeons. I've played around with level design in other games, mostly in Doom 3 or Quake 4 and spent quite a bit of time looking at the editor window but I never actually released any of my work because it was more for a learning experience; it's hard to get that weapon/powerup placement just right, especially when you're criticizing your own work.

I'm Dugray, worked on a few Morrowind mods for my own personal use but never released them to the public, mainly because they dealt with my own private character ( I created Paranor and the underground tunnels beneath it) for those who haven't read the Shannara series then that won't mean anything to you. I can submit original and creative quests (Albeit that my scripting skills are nonexistant unfortunately, land building and dungeon creation. I've got a lot of free time so if you guys get the textures ready I can get to work.

Good day, good evening, good night. I am Cerasine; known as Cera just the same. I learned of the team through IRC, a place in which good Arsonide hangs out from time to time. After learning about The Elsweyr Confederacy, I was immediately interested and thought of every possible way that I could give a hand or two to the project to get it off rolling. I'm really looking forward to seeing this project hit the mod database as something that is not only seemingly flawless, but a must-have mod. Are my expectations too high? Of course not; if they're low, the product won't be as good. Set high goals, and keep with them. You'll be amazed.
Skills? I don't have many, but I'm not rendered completely useless. I'm a fairly decent artist that has had much practice in the vector style. I'll be working on the heightmaps for Elsweyr and Valenwood. I have some other skills, none of which are too formed; basic C++, basic Basic, basic XML, basic HTML, Visual Basic, very basic ASM. I also make music with my computer using many, many different tools. Currently, I'm in a musical project with a good friend of mine that lives in Britain. It's turning out quite well, I might say. I'm learning the lore of Elsweyr and Tamriel, in the bigger picture. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of this. |

I'm Matthias Adreen on TES forums too. I have experience with Photoshop, Pixelating, Texturing. I can do digital art. (I have a usb drawing pad) I talked to Arsonide on ESF. I was messing around and the Basalisk scale armor sounded cool so I drew up a little concept.
