The parasol looks great ( or is it ms.blocky craft making it look better?) but I notice that the top was completely round. I know they are not quite as rounded off as regular mushroom but they did have a slight dome. Keep up the good work :goodjob:

Quentin Fortune:
I don't think pixels/inch have any effect, but size definitely does. Caligula Superfly: Yes, who knows, maybe someone will make a mod like that.

Size does matter?
Alright, try these ... Greetings Quentin *attachment deleted, update available; QF 2006-02-10*
That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs, but what a ship is - what the Black Pearl really is - is freedom.

No problem, thanks to my revolting stomach I took a day off today.
Try again. Greetings Quentin

Umm... Quentin, did you just resize the 256x256 texture?

Interesting effect ...
I resized the texture and changed the resolution as well ... and I tried to brush up the texture a bit. Seems the latter part didn't work. Seems that I have to search for a part of the picture which is much more homogenous in colour and pattern than the one I chose. Nevertheless it was worth a first try and due to your screenies I might be able to optimize the effort. And ... all of this was a good excercize for the texture you asked me for. At least I know now what I should definitely not do. Greetings Quentin

I think we might have misunderstood each other earlier on the resolution part.
I was more thinking of making the texture equally clear as the 256x256 but much larger, and tileable horisontally. Or alternatively, a 256x256 texture that tiles in all four directions. Either way would work great I think. TIA. Btw the yellowish 'sack' texture should probably be replaced too. The one I use now, from Morrowind Visual Pack, doesn't look that good.

Is that the missus hiding behind that Parasol, or Mslle Jolie?
About animating a mushroom - might be that they would be v different from trees. Consider the true nature of the mushroom that has a vast rootmass - that is the real plant and what we see is an offshoot from that. The stuff undergroumd is very soft and pliable. The 'trunk' of a mushroom tends to have verticle fibres (been eatin lotsa raw buttons recently.) Well a giant mushroom is not a button mushroom, but how much rremains the same? What would bend or wave? Also the Telvanni homes when we get there might have to be considered for movement - do their towers sway?
Because loyalty is not to be spoken of and honour is to be endured. Whilst courage is to be survived. These virtues belong to silence.
