Quentin Fortune:
One thread down, 2500 to go. No just kidding it's only worth doing for important and somewhat contemporary threads. I have a personal hope we can carry both the old forum posts and these ones with us when we eventually upgrade to WBB 3 some time in the distant future. It would be pretty handy indeed... and if so there'd be no point in migrating not-so-necessary threads right now. Having said that, if you'd like other threads migrated later on just let me know. But I'm digressing; I can't wait to read the story's continuation and conclusion. The old Nord has kept us in suspense for far too long.

...raggidman stealthily emerges from a shadow in the corner of the room at this point, frantically negociating his way through a pungent fog of cigars and moonsugar, between the littered debris of what looks like a battlefield of assorted shot glasses, whisky, cognac, wine, beer and other less identifiable bottles, and around even larger mound of assorted imbibees and moon sugar enthusiasts gently snoring, snorting, mumbling and purring away to lift the exceedingly large mound of papers on the table in the center of the room, from right under the exhausted and unknowing gaze. Which focuses a second later on the apparently identical assortment of papers that have replaced it.
On scanning the pages and noting the length of the story a conscious listener with exceedingly acute hearing might believe he or she heard a sibilent comment: "this is like the mouse burying his lover the elephant - 'just my luck, one night of extasy and I spend the rest of my life paying for it,' as raggidman disappears in some unnameable and unfathomably raggid fashion back into the corner..."

Yup, but notice the dates; the first time he stopped writing on his story was in October 2004, then he appended two chapters to it in May 2005.
