if you think about it... with Ordinators prowling about thier holy city.... it would be very tough to smuggle things in a large way... maybe a small stash of stuff in a gondola.... but nothing like a smuggler's cutter or a slave ship.... which probably wouldn't land in Vivec City....

You guys should check out the new St olms canton thread,
the entire smuggling opperation thing your talking about works perfectly into one of the primary vivic quests. The guy named "Ghaal," is the leader of a smuggling gang which is just one of the reasons (among piracy, murder, and others) the justice hall and ordinators want an excuse to get rid of him but he is very good at it and not getting caught, thus you can either work for the justice hall in putting him away/death or joining him. Also ive run into a dilema. you know about the big floaty rock above high fane, how the hell are you sposed to get there if there isnt any levitation!?!? A rope ladder would be stupid, and teleporting is for the people who arnt just thier to steal stuff. Any suggestions would be awesome. READ BELOW! Possibly the primary quest idea Here is a solution that I came up with for the levitation problem that turned into an idea that possibly could be a MAJOR decision about the mod. Vivc, being the last of the Tribunal gods, has become the target of some of the other "rogue" gods who are looking for more power that Vivic is preventing them from getting. So... Vivc has retrieted into the Red Mountains with the help of the Neverine and is in hiding there, building strength and making plans to destroy these two powerfull gods (I need some help here, not to big on "bad" gods from TES lore.) These two gods, after seeing what has been happening in Cyrodil have decided that setting the Deadra loose on morrowind would work to thier advantage, hoping it will act as a diversion so they may make an attack on vivic (the god). The Neverine will come to you, asking you for help. So now back to the floaty rock. If indeed vivic had retrieted to the mountains his power which was holding the rock above high fane would be to far away to keep it afloat. So, either he retrieted quickly and the rock has fallen and smashed into the ground below OR he slowly and comfortably lowered the rock onto where is temple once was and it now sits at the top of the temple stairs. (ill make a picture realy quick) If this is a good idea and people like it I have plenty more little details for the story so please gimmie some feedback.

I'm not sure about Vivec going to Red Mt., heart of the remnant sixth House....
but I think your idea is great... and also... well is sort of along the lines of the Cult of the Atronach... the Dunmer and other races cult to worship this new elemental god of Oblivion... a very powerful elemental being... probably the greatest of atronachs |

Vivec moving to Red Mt. would be more of a symbolic gesture.

soon this thread will be locked for 200 posts, but before then, I would like to recap on the main ideas...
these are very general... and vague....
I think we should put in open-air tops for Foreign Quarter, Arena, Olms, & Felms because Foreign Quarter is a market canton also... the Arena seem much better with an open arena and Olms & Felms are smaller markets. Perhaps the Telvanni can have a dome but slightly different with skylights to allow a more musty and native Telvanni feel.... and a mushroom garden... and of course a more mysterious feel and look to it all the Hlaalu canton I feel should have a large indoor market (under the dome) the Redoran canton I think should have a brewery, afterall, native alcohols is one of their main exports I think there should be a high number of Dres in St. Olms Canton due to the high number of laborer and craftsmen guilds and probably a high presence of Cammona Tong in the St. Olms canton area... I think it should be an informal Dres canton, like the other Houses have their own canton I think there should be a high number of Indoril in St. Delyn's Canton, it has specialized groups like potters and glassworkers... good for the Indoril, and could be an unofficial Indoril canton... |

the autonamus regions should allow us to share the same skybox, allowing for open tops
