the Buoyant Armigers would know more than most, except maybe the aids of the Gods... Sotha Sil... no proof... bu Almalexia... well, she's gone, and the Nerevarine took Hopesfire and Barilzar's Mazed Band

I think this puts out the question: who do the people trust more, the Nerevarine or Vivec?

Temple, Ordinators, Mainlanders... probably like Vivec more...
mainlanders very felt the presence of Dagoth Ur and rarely saw Blight Ashlanders, Redoran, and others who lived on Vvardenfell probably appreciate Nerevarine more than others.... Buoyant armigers can go either way but are loyal to their Lord |

Do I perhaps see a possible conflict here?

....the whole storyline is a lot of conflicts... and you are the champion to resolve them... along with Nerevarine and others...

Quote:Originally posted by KuKulzA It figures... But I mean, you may be the savior of Cyrodill, but I thionk that people will still more value actions and opinion of Nerevarine. And still they might not. Both you and Nerevarine are outlanders, but he is still kind a local boy.

yes its true...
savious of Cyrodiil won't be well recognized in Morrowind, nor in Argonia, nor in the beast lands of the Dragontail Mts. but the Nerevarine is a champion of the Morrowind people.... even if only the people of Vvardenfell actually truly appreciate him as they supposedly have witnessed the terror of Dagoth Ur and how close he was to being able to control Vvardenfell... |

So if you ever come in conflict with Nerevarine (Gods forbid =) ), and you ask people for support, non-outlanders I mean, you'll loose for sure?

well.... since the war is over... the Nerevarine isn't a Hortator anymore... but is a respected leader...
champion of Ashlanders.... former Hortator of three houses, member of the Blades, supported by both House warriors and Imperial Legions.... who you gonna ask for support against the Nerevarine? House Indoril and Dres? ...I dunno, they haven't felt the terror of Dagoth Ur, so maybe they don't appreciate the Nerevarine as much as they should.... but they'd be very unlikely to help an outlander fight the Nerevarine.... so don't get into a conflict with the Nerevarine, s/he is important to the main quest... plus, s/he will probably give you one of the super special artifacts s/he gathered in his quests... yeah! ...well maybe something like completing the main quest and the Nerevarine gives you the weapon or armor or amulet or w/e to help him/her defeat whomever.... EDIT: by now the Nerevarine is probably a lv. 60-80, something in between that... I think I might have something implemented so that if you kill the Nerevarine.. you are an automatic outlaw... I mean even Dagoth Ur was reluctant to kill the reincarnation of Lord Nerevar his best buddy.... so if you kill him, the Ashlanders (all of them) will pounce on you, the great house warriors will (though the commoners probably won't), there will probably be someone asking the Morag Tong to execute you, Blades will be angry with you, Imperial Legion will be unhappy with you.... and lots of people with be VERY VERY unhappy with you!!! :bounce: EDIT2: King Helseth will probably congratulate you! |

I understand that Nerevarine musn't die. But why not add this possibility? It could lead to alternate ending and alternate story (not to mention a hell lot of new scripting ).
This would enable to become new supreme power in Vvardefell...
