Voice acting
We're going to include it, yes? I'm assuming most of us have microphones and they're not that expensive anyways, I just want to make sure because this would be SO boring without people talking
I am very sorry, I've been playing WoW.
I am done though, so gg |

We got Arbiter

"I think, therefore I am" - Descartes "I don't think, therefore I spam" "Do not seek to follow the footsteps of the wise, seek what they sought" "On top of the world" |

Just to be clear, is the intent to have full voice acting?

Well, if you think about it, voice acting really doesn't take very long. Would it be best to do it as the NPC dialogue is created?

Maybe, but it's sometimes complicated to get it all setup, and then some people just can't do voice acting, or they don't have a mic. I say we leave it until we get a good amount of progress done, but I agree, text is boring when you don't even have time to read it (because of the way Oblivion handles non-spoken dialogue).

Yeah, sometimes I almost prefer the Morrowind text based system. That way, you had alot more conversation options. (And time to read it)

Exactly, if I had a choice between a program which somehow implemented a Morrowind text-based system into Oblivion, and lost the voice acting, I'd probably prefer it because of the time to read, and the amount of text you could show without a constant limitation.
