just realised I've forgotten to do the stairs I'll make them but export them as a seperate .nif so they can be placed on whichever side suits best. Also, I'm thinking of doing a pointier variant (like that masive pointy house KuKulzA posted in the concept art thread).

oh man... these are looking really good. since I've been having trouble getting my model in between max and mudbox, your work is really putting me to shame llamaranger!

On a more on topic note, I'm waylaying the textures for now as I'm doing the collision model (and I'm not going to use my original idea for the carefully collisioned planks as I think this will be high poly enough anyway. I'm very aware of the performance hit this might have as I will be testing it using Oldblivion as my GFX card won't play it normally Edd EDIT: Thanks Another EDIT: Just realised how complicated the collisioning is gonna be. Think I'll do the textures first

UPDATE
First few textures are done, and if you don't mind me saying, in my opinion they look pretty good http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j18/ll...xtures.jpg I tried to stick as closely as I could to the original colourscheme, but the pink planks just looked out of place so I dirtied them up a bit. Texturing question: I've been trying to keep all the textures at 1028x1028 or 512x512 (for smaller objects), but I'm a bit worried that they might look at bit low res and muddy in game, especially because their supposed to look muddy. I'll get all the textures done and test it, or try and test it. My CS is notoriously unreliable. Comments, as always, appreciated, Edd EDIT: forgot the link :lmao:

Anyways, I'll fininsh this off, maybe do the shamans hut and one of the other basic huts for the Marshes, then maybe I'll wander back over to Elsweyr (quite fancy doing some of those mud huts I mentioned for the plains). YARR! The textures be finished me hearties! Umm.. sorry 'bout that. Still need normal mapping before they are put in-game but.
