What Happened to Rickious?
I ws wondering what happened to him, I was away on holiday and what not so I was not here when here stop posting and possibly left. Did he make a thread and say he was leaving or what.
Its a shame to loose a member of a team.

I think he's just busy on other things for the moment and will return again later. He seems to do his work in snatches.
The subject of Rickious came up recently on the BM forums too. He's very much a valuable member of these forums.

Last time he checked in was a month ago:
Rickious modelling - Rhino to blender? He said he'd be back.

He used some very cool techniques with organic patches if i remember correctly. Very neat stuff. You can never have enough modelers on a team.
Also, i think he was working on some Dumac concepts as well, so i hope he comes back. Maybe someone could PM him just to check in? Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala

I had correspondence with Rick about 6 months ago
In a nutshell, he was very busy in RL and really wasn't sure if he could offer anything to us above Concept Art, He can model as we know but does not have the skills needed to texture the work and was hoping someone else would do the texturing and collision Enjoy Bob

RL gets everybody at some point so I understand that. Its a pity he could not get textures for his models, they were good models.

As for BM, he was the one who'd made most progress on the Paatru stump villages which looked truly amazing and are a top priority at the moment with the proposed release of the beta....but there's no legislating for RL!

He definately worked hard, I guess he took on a lot of work and then RL kicked him in his A**.
