Quote:Originally posted by Quentin Fortune Thanks. I never got around to checking out silgrad.com in it until just now, though I've known about archive.org for years. As the crash was during the summer, the only version before is May 9th, and the one after is September 26th. The last url won't work directly, though, because we have forwarding pages here and there that bounce readers in the right direction. But you can circumvent that with the Sep 28th version by going to a page that doesn't forward, for example, Sep 28th download page. Good luck hunting!

I finally got around to putting together a little archive of past Silgrad days.
-> -here- It has full versions of the first site (from december 2002), as well as the /silgrad/ site that ceased on April 25th this year to make way for the current one. Further it has an index page from the summer of 2003 with a very interesting news log. This is only of historical interest of course, but for those so inclined there's a lot of info to be gleaned from there.

Google does almost the same things that archive does. But they aren't that loud about it.
But it's a great found! I'm gonna check it now. :elk: Edit: One more thing about the new websites and layouts your'e making, you should try to add alternatives to the images. Incase we are checking back there. ~1337:elk: |
