We are making progress aren't we. I have been using so many free models lately I felt a little drained. So I set my hand to some Ka'poTun architecture. Here are the pics, any opinions?

Hey Im from over at the Elsweyr forum, and I was wondering if you could use me. My forte is interior modeling, not much more though, sadly. Yet, there's always room for me to learn. So, I hope I can be of service.

Sure, we need all the help we can get. Google, you should download the files I have uploaded recently. First download the Akavir file I uploaded a few days ago, then download the missing files I uploaded yesterday, and then Download my mod The darkness of Castle Hei Li from TesNexus that should be all the necessary files for now. I will put together a more complete package together latter. Once you have the files we can start work. I mostly deal with models and the like. Is there anything you want to work on in particualar? I might ask you to begin work on a city or dungeons or Interiors as you suggeted. But we sure are welcoming any help.

the kapotun architecture is very different which helps set their culture apart from the others. I look forward to seeing more.
@googlepox- when you say interior modelling, i assume you meant interior furnishing and design and not the creation of meshes which is modelling. At the moment, there isnt much new content in terms of furniture and clutter. I'm looking through some japanese text books and replicating their designs at the moment. |

Google here are the dowloads you need.
Akavir Missing Files Google you can help make interiors for our Tsaesci Citie's interiors. The Castle Hei Li mod contains a tileset I have made that can very much make any interior for Tsaesci construction. I encourage you to be creative. There are other tilesets and resources available as well. Perhaps first you should look around the city a bit. You can travel there in-game through the console command "coc portcity". If Exile doesn't mind you can start making the interior of the Inn, it's the building near the front gate with the hanging lanterns. Edit: I forgot to mention I have already finished a number Ka'poTun buildings and one interior.

if its alright, i'd like to request some tidy up meshes to the exterior tileset-
I was wondering if it was possbile to make it so that the balcony railings could somehow match up to another wall piece. At the moment, the rails stop before reaching the wall or else they have gaps. ie- matching CorthianExteriorCorner2C and CorthianExteriorCorner4C leaves imperfections between the 2 meshes. also, if CorthianExteriorBend2C could have rails on a side to make an end to balconies OR otherwise, a simple wall piece that matches up with the corner wood suppoorts of all the exterior pieces. (i wanted to connect CorthianExteriorSide3C and corthianExteriorBend2C but the corners didnt work. the additional roof pane was removed) This is mainly because i wanted to change the gate design leading to the ports to be more spacious and to actually have rooms up stairs instead of being just a balcony. And i'll get onto the inn interior. I also plan to edit the exterior model as well. EDIT: I thought the inn's upper floor was way too small to be for lodgings so i just beheaded it to have an open roof deck. Now i'll look around for some furniture styles. To me, it seems to be a middle class- lower class building so i'll make furniture to suit. Actually, its less of an inn and more like a tavern now. the original design would be more suited outside of a city, sort of like a roadside stop. |
