oldblivion has never had problems with custom textures before. I'm going to send my esp to carrow see if it is like that on his comp. also ill see if my de parralaxer is running and disable it

Well, I've just downloaded the public assets released today (10th), I'll see if they're still the same. Thing is though, each time I download a public version, I'll also extract an old private version which overwrites some things. Maybe it overwrites the more recent shack textures with older ones? hrug:
This time, I'll extract only the private pieces I need, like Redoran int/ext pieces and see if the shack tileset still has black/no textures. |

Sorry...
Right about the time I promised to look into this, I started having eye problems that made extended computer time difficult. And I'm a lazy procrastinator.
Short form: All the texes looked fine in-game, though some still have the black-in-CS effect. I'll look at that later. Below are some screeners I took of Ald Velothi, some of which illustrate issues (IMNSHO) that I saw. But this is a very nice set-up, cuzant, and some of the things are things that only the author of the tileset (me) would have picked up. - I noticed some RP objects used as walkways and ladders. In the ST/Dunmer/Shack/Decoration/Exterior directory are several pieces that can be used if you like for a more unified feel. For more details, check out page 3 of the Shack Tileset thread. I do like the wooden stakes as railings though. - The intended use of foundations vs platforms is to use one or the other, usually foundations if by land and platforms if by sea. Also when using platforms, base molding pieces can be used to hide the thin bit of foundation still visible. - This is totally at the discretion of KKA, Dave and HtH, but I personally do not see the need for each modder to create his own reference ID for stock architecture, unless needed for scripting; YMMV. This is my first view of the shack assets as used in VV, and it was very gratifying. If there are any questions that are not answered in the thread I mentioned above , please let me know. Thanks for letting us know you're on it. It's good to see you're determined.
The shacks look fine from what I can see, what parts are effected with the black textures, is it bad? You think there'd be enough to show on the forum thread, perhaps? How about the interiors, are these effected with the black tex problems? If the interiors look okay, I could make some quick housing for Hla Oad if timmay doesn't get back, so we may be able to fit that into the screenshot showcase along with Ald Velothi if there's screens in time. |

A couple of notes
- As Mormacil noted, my PC was under chameleon and I forgot to lower my weapon. The effect was most interesting on the water-level shots where I was trying to take advantage of the "clear view underwater" bug.
- The textures that appear to be black only appear black when you look in the Construction Set. In the game, everything looks fine, except for a possibly missing texture for the nail heads on the walkway pieces, which are not from my set. Steve |

well it went weird for me screenies are somewhere of it.wonder if it means i cant play my own town or the mod itself.
