I'm hoping that the next one will offer more possibilities with regards to animations - FO3 is both better and worse in this respect (the worse aspect being no looping SpecialIdles, which prevents the otherwise almost unlimited possibilty of adding new animations with some clever scripting).

From what I understand, the GECK has some massive improvements over the OB CS, so hopefully for the next TES game we'll get that added functionality and a more versatile animation system (or less hardcoded stuff in general).

I didn't know that about Fallout 3's Construction Set. That certainly bodes well given how closely related Bethesda's last three games have been If the next Elder Scrolls game is a real TES game (with equal or greater modding capability) then at the top of my wishlist is an official model exporter with a fat, juicy manual hehe. I've always wanted to do a fountain, with animated water and particle effects, but I've kinda shied away from it... well anyway, I digress.

I agree, I tested a few of the new features and was impressed.
For example creating patrol routes is a lot easier.
