I do not have time to work on Black Marsh at this time, but when I start something I fully intend to finish it. This mod is like my second child. Restoring the forums would be fine, but this mod will not be complete for years upon years, and I suppose the same fate awaits Middle-earth as well. One thing is, when I make models for Middle-earth, a lot of them may find themselves in Black Marsh, and vice versa. So when I work on one I may be working towards the other as well. A great example would be my 2d swamp plane that I used to make the Marish region in the Shire. Though this mod is not active right now, I still have all the data I created, and this mod has come a long way to be killed.

Well if modders from other ST projects come together we could bring it back, of course working on two projects is hard, it is possible though if enough people try. :goodjob:

I fully agree with mormacil on this. I do not think that Black Marsh could really recover without very strong leadership and a massive surge in interest, of which it has neither with both tlo and grey wizard unable to work on the project.

I voted to keep it archived, for now. As it is clear that not many people have the time to work dedicatedly for it.
To answer your question, yes. But probably no.

I voted archive in TGW's absence.

It's pretty clear that TGW has made a home for himself in BM. if he or the other Core members decide they are ready to continue they have my support, but until something starts itself I am not going to add another restart to my portfolio.
BM is important - so I do want to see it return in its own time, as I am sure it will.

he said he'll work on it when he has more time, and when there's less to do for ME. Until then im guessing this will stay archived, perhaps in the coming months this will change? There were some members though that still want to work on this, i dont see why not. :goodjob:

I appreciate and share your concerns - but I think you will see that when the BMers really get back together they will be refreshed by the break and will get more done.
Teams usually get more done than individuals once they are focussed. The hard part is maintaining that focus. When the focus has gone you have to recognise that and give them a breather. Look at Morrowind. Bethsoft Archived it for years, and then brought it out not so long before they released it and whoosh - loads got done in a very short time. Bide the time chris07.
