i have to say that i am the same - tolkien came first, then TES, and those are my 2 at this point.
btw, i like Morgoth too, but now he's kinda out of the picture after the War of Wrath. and then Sauron followed... so im a fan of the Noldi, not so much Sindar though. but as you said, lets get back to topic. fr

I've read the Silmarillion & the, erhm, well I don't know its English name, probably something like "Leftover stories" . But I've read those in Dutch meaning all the names are rumbled up for me, and I really can't follow what you said KuKulza

ie. -Lost Tales (I and II) -Unfinished Tales

Tolkien is universal. I don't see how Mim would have a different name.

Does anyone here know of 'David Eddings'?
It is freaky how much his city names & countries/cultures resemble stock morrowind ones. Quote:A_flyboy: p.s. teabagging banana! ==>:bananarock:<== oh no a michal jackson class noob!!!!!! Quote:Arbiter |

Howdy
I like the story, as the raggidman points out we are building the university in Morrowind timeframe to coordinate (with high hopes) into OB, I'm pretty confident we can fit a prelogue to this quest into the Cerro/Universty Quest line in TES3, once you have enlightened us to more of the story we can determine at which phase to plant the seed. Sorry for my 'off-time' guys, I'm back now and updating regularly!
Edit 2007.04.04 23:37 I just saw this: http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=9388 , and it gave me the idea to do the next chapter in a seadome.... is it allowed to use modders resources? Edit 2007.04.05 17:51 The letter with clues to the next transport hub: Quest: "Camillan Chronicles: Plane of Aear" [When you read the letter the new journal entry "Camillan's Enlightenment: Plane of Aear" will begin] "Dear adventurer, I will explain to you in short the system my master, Camillan, used for his research. In order to prevent disasters caused by incompetent people using his devices, he hid his main laboratory in a plane of Oblivion and he divided it into nine pieces. Camillan put safeguards in place so it is impossible to get into his research central without the Keys. The hall of Daedra, the place where you last saw me, is the entrance to Camillan's main research lab. You will have to 'sacrifice' every Key to each and every one of the Daedra in the form of statues in the Hall. I gave you the first Key, the Ring of Camillan. I know the location of at least one of the portals you can find to the Aear, it is located close to the house of a mighty noble, Lord Ebbedin. Ask about recent sightings of a strange watercreature. It will find you if you get close to its home. Several other orbs exist which will allow us to communicate. We might meet again." - Journal Entry: "I've read the letter that Camillan's artificial intelligence gave me, it provides information about Camillan's labs, which must be full of treasure and powerful artifacts! I have to get nine keys to get into the real laboratory of Camillan, I have the first. The artificial intelligence gave me a clue to follow: go to Ebbedin and find a strange seacreature." [You go to Ebbedin and you talk to one of the fishermen there] NPC01Fisher: "A strange seacreature? Yeah, old toby and me's been seeing a thing lately, it almost looks like a human, though we're sure it ain't a mermaid or some such creature. Usually shows up near Burs banks." [Your map gets a marker at a small rock formation called Burs Bank] - Journal Entry: "The seacreature's been spotted near Ebbedin, at a spot called Burs Bank, I marked it on my map. I should investigate." [When you get this journal entry, a creature (completely blue, possibly using Dark Elf model) is set to 'on' at Burs Bank] At Burs Bank you see the blue creature, you approach it and you talk to it. NPC02Guardian: "Follow, swim" The creature walks into the water and swims. - Journal Entry: "I found a blue seacreature at Burs Bank, it wants me to follow it." [if you aren't close enough it stops and waits for you] You swim way down to a small cave entrance, the creature and you go in. It's a small, dry, cave - Journal Entry: "I swam with the guardian to a dry cave at the bottom of the Ebbedin bay." NPC02Guardian: "Your mind has been touched. Enter." A brilliant flash, you are transported. When you wake up, you are in a seadome (check: Seadome mod ). In front of you there are two bodies, one of an Argonian and one of a seacreature like the one seen before. - Journal Entry: "The seacreature transported me to a seadome, probably the lab of Aear. There are two bodies on the ground, an Argonian and one of those seacreatures. I should check the Argonian for clues as to who he was." When you check the argonians body you find a note. - Assignment Gam-Kur: "The note is smeared with blood, you can decipher the date, it's dated two weeks in the past. Gam-Kur, for you I have a suitable assignment: infiltrate a structure in the sea and get a certain amulet for us. Kill the one who brought you this message and use a black soulgem to trap his soul. Then scratch the soulgem over the crystal the messenger is carrying, you will then be transported to this seadome. Use extreme caution; dangerous creatures about." - Journal Entry: "It seems I'm not the only one searching for the keys. An Argonian was sent here to retrieve the 'amulet', which is probably the key located in this dome. The note I read seemed to suggest that this argonian was the only agent sent here. I should however proceed with caution." [You walk on, you get into a big room with a large, round door. There's a pillar in front of the door. You activate it and a violent sea creature who attacks you. You defeat it. You search the creature, he has a key on him.] You open the door. Strange voice: "You have entered the lab of Aear." [You find a round, big room with alchemist stuff, in the middle there is a round globe like the one you found back at the Garden.] You walk to the globe and activate it. [Suddenly a guy (the globeguy) appears in front of you] "Good job, the Aear Key is in a blue box behind me, here is the key." PCAnswer01: "I found an Argonian when I came in [give the contents of the letter]" Answer01: "This is troubling, I think you too concluded someone is looking for Camillan's lab. Here, this device will transport you to a parallel plane where you can safely store the Keys. Meet me there." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the end of Chapter 2, 7 to go
