I could probably do scripting for banking with gaining interest over time if that would be of use.

But maybe I could convince you to do the location (when you find the time)? If so I can provide some details and suggestions regarding the layout.

I could set it up as dialogue like "deposit 50 gold" or "500 gold" at a time, then make a global to keep track of it. After that you could set it to any NPC's dialogue to make bank tellers later. And as far as the bank it'self goes, I could do it after I make that house, but I'd need some direction as to where it would go, or where they would go as the global will be useable anywhere or by any NPC with the same dialogue.

I hear ya RW lots of things going on and only 1 you
As far as the multiple banks go I think it would be a good Idea to have some different ones local and a major one, to compete for your business Enjoy Bob

I've actually made plans for a bank mod like this a while ago, it shouldn't be hard. But besides that all I've got to do is design a house which is nothing compared to the towns I've done in the past. Just can't make up my mind on the quest I wanna give it.
by the way: Where does one get a soda can of themself?

Is it possible to make normal gold coins a different texture? So that all gold coins have the same use, value etc, but they look different in Morrowind and in Cyrodiil. Sort of like how it works in Scotland and England, although over here its the Scottish notes that confuse those Sasainneachs
Another possibility would be for an exchange office to 'safekeep' all your gold when you arrive, so that a player who carries around 5472375783268 gold has 0 when he arrives in Silgrad. And then when you leave Silgrad (:O) then you get all that gold back, but the gold you picked up in Morrowind is left at the 'exchange office' until you return. Just a nooby though And any chance of a can of Bob while I wait for a reply?

you could write a script keeping track of all the "Morrowind" gold you pick up and all the imperial gold, then when you speak to it rebalances the gold, Temporarily to the value of that certain type, then back after the exchange. Or something like that.
Honestly the currency exchange would be easy, but I only think outside the box.

What if...?
Remember Galadrielle's Morroblivion Converter program? What if someone with programming knowledge wrote a small utility to convert all of the old Dunmer gold in ST into vanilla Oblivion gold? We could just run it on the ESMs, and then we're all set! We'd have to tell everyone in the future to use vanilla gold instead, though. |
